House Republican Floor Leader Jacquelin Maycumber delivers a floor speech in support of Amendment 1164 to Senate Bill 6109. The amendment would have required parents with illegal fentanyl to prove that they can provide a safe home for their children. It was voted down 46-49 by House Democrats, with all House Republicans voting in favor of it.
Senate Bill 6109 passed on a 94-0 voted on February 28.
