One of the actors working the disastrous Willy Wonka pop-up attraction in the UK is spilling all ... telling TMZ that "carnage" ensued after attendees became an angry mob over the underwhelming display.
The kids arrived and and I mean as soon as they walked in this warehouse
They could see it was not not a chocolate factory full of them, you know edible
Edible delight there wasn't even chocolate. This is the thing that gets me. There was no chocolate at the chocolate factory
We were told to give him two jelly beans and a quarter of a cup of lemonade
So people were going through this event in about five to ten minutes at a time
I was playing Willy Wonka for about three and a half hours and
when I came back after my break was when there was
Like a basically like a mob and that were angry
understandably at the event and
That there was the police were called people were were throwing things that they people were crying people shouting
it just turned into
Like carnage basically
I I think that they've had similar things before where they've tried to put events on and it's it's not worked up until now
We've not been there. It's supposed to be 500 pounds for the weekend. No one's contacts me at all
And it's just been dead silence from them a group of the parents of the kids who were disappointed
Are actually going to put on an event for the kids that were that turned up and didn't have a you know
good experience and so a couple of the parents reached out to me and was like, would you be up for
Planning something and so we're putting together something for free just for the kids that missed out and we've got people
Sponsoring it and sponsoring the event and and donating things. So we're actually gonna make like a really nice
event for these kids
