Is it time to quit YouTube? Quitting youtube is like quitting anything in life - business, relationships, weight loss, weight gain, hobbies, friends - you need to understand the realistic expectations when trying to achieve something and give it the effort, time and knowledge it deserves.
I have been on YouTube for over 9 years now. In that time I have grow 3 channels, 2 painfully slowly and 1 quickly based on trends and the experience I have gained from 9 years of hard work.
Don't quit, just do the hard work - be realistic - and never give up!

the time has come to tackle a very
important
topic something that is dear to my heart
and to many of you
for that matter that is
quitting youtube some of you may have
seen views plummet
subscriber counts drop off
growth growing to a halt
you may be grinding for for weeks months
years on end and you may have had some
element of success
and then it just dies the the passion
the love the will to push forward it
doesn't even have to be youtube based
it could be a relationship
it could be a fitness regime it could be
a job a career a former passion this is
where you have to
check inside yourself are you truly
quitting
because you've lost faith in the long
run or
are you quitting because the goal that
you set yourself was completely
unrealistic to start with
are you quitting youtube because you've
only got
two viewers and two subscribers when you
wanted one million
within a week have you started a
business and hoped that it would
hit a million pounds and make you mega
rich
but didn't realize that you needed the
research and the knowledge
and the experience if you don't do the
legwork it won't happen
but in return you could be digging
and digging and digging and you're just
about to stop
when you're about to hit gold some
youtube channels explode
overnight i was very lucky that i was
able to start a youtube channel
and get it to 7000 subscribers in three
months there's a video
up here where i start talking about that
and a series where i start training you
on how to go from zero
to one thousand subscribers and how to
monetize that channel
some channels explode some are jenelle
lyanna and they upload one video and
they get two million subscribers within
two weeks
most aren't your business could think of
one product and sell it
and it could be amazing it could be
fantastic and that could make you
millions
or it could be the 1000th redesign of
that t-shirt
or that product that gets you where it
needs to be before you decide
to say i quit try and figure out
what you are quitting from what's making
you quit is it too hard
are you going too fast are you trying to
do 10 videos in a week when
two a week could be helpful are you
trying to sell too many products
right when if you've been a little bit
leaner and sensible understanding that
you're only gonna sell
five products a week that maybe you need
to cut back on
staff are you overstretched are you
overworked
are you under-educated are you trying to
do something in a year that
logistically seriously needs 10 years
of practice there's a lot of things that
you need to think of there's a lot of
things that you need to
set your expectations for right but if
you
truly like the thing that you are doing
then keep doing the thing that you like
and in the long run it might get you the
success that you're hoping for but you
have to be realistic
is it a two-week thing or is it a
10-year thing
weight loss subscriber growth business
sales marathon running everything takes
training and time
have you put the time in or are you
willing to
wait and not quit and say that success
in the long run you know i get this
video is a little bit different from
what i normally create on this channel
but i thought i'd start sharing these
creator thoughts that's what i've been
doing for the last couple of months
right i've been talking about my ugly
truth it's gonna be in the eye cut up
here
and just generally being honest about
the creator journey
what it truly takes mentally physically
right to be a youtube creator because if
i can help
teach you that and document that then
you'll be better prepared
in the long run if you want to go step
back and understand where i come from
there's a video here
where i talk about how it took me four
years to go from bankrupt
to where i am today on youtube and how
it's taken me eight ten years to start
creating content
and there's a playlist here on how i
grew my recent project
i teach you the ugly truth and hopefully
how to grow your own business brand but
don't quit
just yet
