here are six things that you can do that can help you get a hundred subscribers free every month one pinned comments you'll be amazed how much people interact with you in your comment section if you start the conversation at the bottom of this video and any other video that i do i always pin a comment asking some form of question linking to some kind of relevant video or placing a subscribe link this is a great way to get people's attention not everybody watches the video in itself they'll scroll down they'll listen you can engage with them if you ask to make question as well this is a way to build a conversational theme within your content it gets people to come in say hello be excited to be one of the first fews to comment you communicate with them they get interaction with their favorite youtuber and you get comments that is classed as engagement this engagement then helps rank the video better in the long run because they're watching the video for longer to comment they're engaging with the video in commenting in itself and then this shows youtube that it was engaging enough to not just be placed in the background and to be ignored pinned comments can also help you push traffic from older videos so if you've got an updated video of your current one say for example you did a best things in 2020 and then you wanted to make a 2021 video or a 2022 video you can go back to the older ones change the pinned comment to say updated and then a link to the new one and they can jump through pin comments can also be a good way to get ahead of any comments that you may have made within that video do you need to highlight that you've made a mistake do you need to link over to the course that you're talking about or the product that you're using or some new lighting that you've used for your set a great place to put it in the pinned comments highlighting where it happens to be it's practically unmissable the watermark or the subscribe button it's it's in the bottom right hand corner i don't know what it is placed on a camera but it's somewhere down here and you'll see it's always on my video then it always when you hover over it pops up and says hey subscribe this is a really clever little tool that constantly prompts people makes it easier for people to communicate and engage with you if you remove the friction and make it easier and easier for people to subscribe to you then you're going to get more people with you now you can change how often that pops up it's under the customization feature on the left hand side of your dashboard you can have it pop up right at the start of the video you can have it pop up at the end of the video it can always be there you can change what it happens to be once again i'm pointing into a corner i'm not sure which one it could just be your normal avatar or you could choose to make a big subscribe button or something eye-catching but what this will do is lure people to the bottom right hand corner and click plus if your video is embedded on another website somewhere a blog a forum reddit that button's always there so therefore it's a way for them to subscribe without leaving that forum or that facebook page or anything like that three the auto subscriber link now this is one of my secret hidden weapons what you'll see in my description down below is a subscribe link and when you click on that subscribe link it pops up and it goes oh hello are you subscribed to this channel would you like to subscribe yes this auto subscribe link helps in many ways one if i send it out to people i'm not just saying go to youtube.com alanspicer they'll arrive at youtube.com forward slash allen spicer and then they'll just go off and do their own thing but if you send them this link it prompts them to subscribe which is yet another kind of brain trick for them to oh yeah okay click you can use this link on any of your social media you can put it on twitter you can put it on instagram that kind of thing and because you've made it into a shortener you'll be able to see the stats behind it as well so you'll see how many people click on it from many different areas now i used to use the google short now but you can also use things like bitly and go to and others i'll leave links to url shorteners in the description down below but overall if you put this auto subscribe link in in your videos on your pinned comments on your banners that kind of thing it really does attract people's attention your channel banner is the perfect wrapping paper for what you choose to do so if your channel banner is not even there so many channels i see where they just don't add their banner they don't add their channel trailer they don't bother to add an avatar this is a huge mistake your channel banner is a huge piece of advertising real estate which is completely free for you and what it should do is tell me who you are what you do why i should pay attention to you and how often a call to action that kind of thing so in my case it shows you i'm alan i'm a youtube certified expert i upload tips trips and tutorials and you can subscribe and there's a little arrow pointing to where you can subscribe using the auto link you need to be very careful with those links as well those links on the right hand side of the banner these are your powerful call to actions if you have too many you confuse people if you push them away off the site then they're off the site and it stops session watch time you'll have a look at mine here i push them either to my other youtube channel the crypto rookie i push them to my blog which in the end pushes them back to youtube or it's a subscriber link you should always focus on pushing people into youtube to grow your youtube channel and then in the long run you can push them elsewhere but if you want to grow on youtube push them into youtube five links in the description you'll be amazed how many people actually read your description right so many times you'll sit there and you'll just watch the video and you won't right but from my perspective i get a few thousand views a day and you've got to think the percentage of the percentage of people that will scroll down yes you won't get three thousand views three thousand people watching your descriptions three thousand clicks through to that affiliate link but you'll be amazed how many people actually read the descriptions especially if you suggest that they read the description you can find nice little hidden little things you'll be amazed how many creators hide jokes or links or private projects that kind of thing or if you really like these kind of videos you want to know what camera i'm using or what lighting i'm using or that kind of thing you'll be amazed what kind of hidden gems are hidden in every video description and you can also give that privilege to everybody else you can place a contact link you can place a po box you can place suggested videos so if you
