Highlights: Fortuna Sittard - AZ | Eredivisie 2023/2024

Zugervaar has an early cross in the legs Good cross too Can start today from Pasco van Bolle Duarte is shaken and the outcome is certainly not unworthy from the second line An attempt by Mijnhans Cordoba extended Cordoba Here and there an arm but certainly not an outstretched arm Cordoba points it out as well Shouldn't you try contacting Zijst for a moment That ball actually falls right in between It seems rather harsh that VAR is going to do something about it here Good football by AZ Klaasie The first part of the attack is well handled Now the continuation must come from Van Bommel Van Bommel a foot out Oh what a beautiful ball from Van Bommel Well that's another chance There is a serious chance The flag will eventually go up The outside play of the Parliers does nothing to diminish the beauty of Van Bommel's Easter The top scorer is indeed out of play Muller-Wolff Van Bommel Good pass by Van Bommel Soukabarra connected And it shoots convincingly Then Danny de Wit makes a rather clumsy foul Because he can't score anywhere in his own penalty area Soukabarra De Wit is taking on the duel But what is Van Rips doing there He really has very little business there Strange save by the Fortuna goalkeeper Even so he kicks the ball over his head into the goal Ask yourself whether that message from Danny Buijs from last week was really necessary It was rather uneventful arriving in the first quarter Well here's the answer Such a team is playing extremely tightly so far Belic gives a gift to Betrayed Van Bommel runs with the ball but this is not a foul Belic then loses the ball This is great football Fortuna could easily open the score here This is completely out of proportion but this is what is happening Cordoba Yes he admits it's his fault Well the scholars quickly agreed on that Belic incredibly naive Balverlies Then Cordoba can walk past three or four men to get the ball in Eighteen minutes long the Buijs team Viewer in their own stadium but with DNO Yes apparently astonishment prevails Based on body language The ball is extended Call for Hens The ball remains inside And then this is still a nice opportunity Klaasie Belic Crack and then this is really a big opportunity for Muller-Wolver He kicks him high over the goal of Verrips who was lying on the ground and could have done something about it It's over Belic it's over too Pavlidis out of the game That's a great goal but then the flag is raised for offside Excellent attack Yes it's not a problem if Pavlidis is out of the picture there Doelpen does not count How beautiful it is Goes Beyond his opponent Comes a whole end Then gets stuck Then Goes must return quickly Sugawara Oh yes a troublesome violation is being made there Viewed by Martens And then a yellow card is shown to Londwijk who leaves his leg hanging in that duel with Sugawara That is a really annoying violation of the law Justifiably fined in Geel Let Halilovic go Check if he is agitated The first time then He should have taken the bank seat Van Bommel Two men are missing Van Bommel But once to try Yes that's very nicely done by the left striker Dijks is a long shot Person Good There's still Halilovic He suddenly flies in front of him And then he shoots him straight into Ryan's hands Goes Van Rips lets him fall And then it's just equal 1-1 What a heretic the Fortuno goalkeeper is And then he's like the chicken in the storm A powerful kick to the corner He stops And then he has to catch it And then it's Pavlidis He's making his 21st of the season Finally a goal for AZ That's a good ball from Klaasie And Van Rips has to go in He doesn't do it enough He should look naturally good as a goalkeeper for such a heretic Van Brederode Intervene in a half-hearted way And then the next possibility for AZ comes up Now it's Fortuno that's suddenly lost It goes very easily Oh what a spectacle Great football The sound of the aluminum was at least as beautiful as the blast itself In the second half it deserved much more He tripped Van Halilovic Free header Looked like a moment But then again The chance Oh and one more time the paint And not in it Unbelievable And then also the flag up Apparently for offside What a spectacle suddenly in Sittard The first from Brederode one side And then Fortuno twice The score is still 1-1 Six matches in a row without a win You can also see the AZ management Sugawara To the right Zeefuik Naturally There he is again While it is De Wit who profits In AZ it's extremely dangerous 1-2 shots What a mess What doesn't work With all sorts of combinations All with well-drafted patterns Achievable with a classic long pass A big strong striker Extend Close the door And so it seems AZ is about to secure a victory in Sittard Thanks to Dani de Wit She was sixth in the season Fortuno is not doing well anymore In the extra time of the match With Petersson And Oran van Groen There by the second pole Halilovic It can still do it Ryan with the air It is ultimately AZ that once again manages to win in the Eredivisie That with a 2-1 victory in Sittard Excellent match Definitely in the second half it was highly entertaining
