La perversidad del comunismo en su máxima expresión
The metaphor of the featherless chicken. It is said that in one of his meetings in Stalingrad,
Joseph Stalin, a Soviet dictator during the period from 1878 to 1953,
asked to be brought a chicken. As soon as they brought it, he took it hard on the neck
with one hand, and with the other he began to pull out his feathers. The desperate chicken
tried to escape, but he could not. In this way he managed to remove all the feathers,
and he told his assistants, now observe what is going to happen. He placed the chicken on the floor,
moved away from it a distance of two meters, and took a handful of wheat in his hand.
While his collaborators watched, amazed at how the chicken, scared and in pain,
ran after Stalin while he was pulling wheat cloves at him, and turned in the room.
The chicken chased him everywhere. Then Stalin looked at his assistants with disdain and
arrogance, who were perplexed and were totally surprised, and said to them,
It is that easy to govern the stupid. Did you see how the chicken chased me despite the pain I
caused him? This is how most peoples easily forget how badly they may have administered
their presidents, or their rulers, or their politicians, despite the pain they cause them,
for the simple fact of receiving a cheap gift, or some food for one or two days, they submit
and return to bend over for the government of turn. Most governments do not like
simply a sleepy citizen, and above all, always dependent on fabricated needs.
True or not, this story illustrates very well how certain politicians manage to govern,
enticing their citizens. Beyond wanting to do good to a people, they want to satisfy their
darkest needs of dominion, superiority, ambition and power, taking advantage of the ignorance,
needs and weaknesses of the people they govern or believe to protect. Throughout history,
we have seen how certain politicians manage power by controlling the media,
and of course, keeping their population afraid. Fear is the pain that is caused to them,
as happened with the chicken. There is no vocation of service, and some laws are not made to protect us,
they are made to protect the great. Share this message if you liked it, and remember,
do not believe everything they tell you, because many only tell you what you want to hear. Because a
country that forgets its history is doomed to repeat it, and then benefit from you.
