Rep. Spencer Hutchins speaks against a bill that would further limit health care plan choices

Rep. Spencer Hutchins, R-Gig Harbor, urges a no vote on House Bill 2361 which would eliminate non-standard health care plans on Washington state's Health Benefits Exchange. (HBE) Supporters argue consumer's get confused by the current system. Hutchins argued the government shouldn't limit consumers' choices and shrink the number of available insurance plans. Instead, he said consumers should be provided more resources to make the most informed choice.
