Camping with my dog in the Californian desert is always a tranquil and peaceful experience. Despite its arid climate, the desert offers a unique beauty in springtime that is hard to find elsewhere. As I take a stroll through the remote landscape, I can feel each breath of wind and soak up the warmth of the sun on my skin. Truly there is something special about being surrounded by nothing but nature: no jarring noises, no busy crowds, just me and my pup amidst ancient rock formations and rolling golden hills. But perhaps even better than that are all of the stars twinkling above us at night - it's like all worries have drifted away and all that's left is pure awe and wonder.
