虎尾建國眷村 (原日本海軍虎尾飛行場神風特攻隊初級訓練基地)

虎尾建國眷村原為日本海軍虎尾飛行場神風特攻隊初級訓練基地, 也是目前台灣唯一保存較完整的農村型態眷村。在特定季節 (12月中旬至次年3月中旬) , 還有機會在眷村旁的後壁寮旗站觀賞虎尾糖廠的五分仔車載著甘蔗往糖廠的特殊畫面。

Huwei Jianguo Military Dependents' Village was originally the primary training base for the Kamikaze Commando at the Japanese Navy's Huwei Airfield. It is also the only relatively well-preserved rural military dependents' village in Taiwan. In certain seasons (from mid-December to mid-March of the following year), you may also have the opportunity to watch the special scene of the Huwei Sugar Factory’s wufen trolley-train truck carrying sugar cane to the sugar factory at Houbiliao Flag Station next to the military dependents' village.
