This Mountain is a Hidden Gem for Snowboarding

That was awesome, we need to do that again. Yeah. Yeah, that was sweet man. We just followed a couple of skier tracks into a kind of like rocky basin that had been filled in by the snow. Yo, what's up everyone? Today we're back up snowboarding at Lake Louise. We have an incredible day up here, sun's coming out, still some fresh pockets of snow. Upriding with Alex, who's a local rider up here, and also Nirav, helping us out with the camera work. Should be a super sick day. Let's go out and find some goods. Oh, sick man. So we got Alex taking us around some pretty gnarly stuff. Going down this pretty fun double black diamond chute. The wind has kind of pushed a lot of fresh snow into this, so it's making it for some pretty fun turns. Yeah. What's up? No worries dude. No worries man. What's your name? Kane. Kane? Oh yeah, it is. Yeah, yeah. Oh, we gotta hit the town today. So today we're upriding with Alex, who's a local here. Dude, what made you move out to Banff? I came here when I was 18 just to get off Puerto Quebec, and I just decided to snowboard like a crazy man and it just never changed since that day. Sick man. It's as simple as that. What was it like coming out here your first season? It was kind of tough. I didn't speak anywhere in English. I was like learning English, working in the kitchen. Wow. And living in my van. Oh, sick man. Couldn't find a place. So I was just living in my van the whole winter. Sick man. That was 10 years ago. 10 years ago, yeah. What's your favorite thing about these mountains? It's just, it's so big. It's insane. You just come up here and you never know what you're going to find. Every day's a different day, but it's always a good day. Awesome. He's been showing us some incredible spots all like today and the other day as well. Always bucket to find. Yeah. It's endless up here. All right. So next up, Ustavol. Yeah. That was fun. That was fun, man. What's the technique for the board? Yeah. Just jog and then try to put the thing between my legs. That's it? Yeah, that's it. It's a grab. That's too good. Exactly. It's super busy. You're out in the morning. There's nobody. You get all the freshies for yourself. Sick. That's all you want. Exactly. Free chanel every time. Dude, it's amazing. Wow. Yeah. That's part of Ustavol. Oh, cool. There's just a lower part that way. Okay. And like now, we're like on top. Today was a super amazing day up at Lake Louise. I think the one thing that we discovered is that this place is a total hidden gem. Like for the type of terrain you get, the size of the mountain, the conditions, no lift lines. Man, I feel like for anyone in the world looking for an amazing destination, Lake Louise is the spot. Highly recommend it. I'm definitely coming back here a ton and man, yeah, I just can't say enough good things. I think perfect mountain. There's nothing bad to say. Incredible views. The terrain park is sick and we'll definitely be back here again. Big shout out to Alex for showing us around as well. He helped us find so many good spots.
