Why Young Chinese Are CLUELESS About the Tiananmen Massacre

If you ask a young Chinese citizen who has lived in China their life what happened on July 4, 1989, they may give you a blank look. If you ask them about the Chinese military firing on unarmed protesters, many of them college-aged or younger, they might ask you to explain what happened because they never learned about it. This is how the CCP tries to whitewash its crimes, by erasing history. In this episode of China Unscripted, we talk about the nature of the CCP, its attempts to repress its crimes, and where to get good sources of information on China.
