The traditional spirit in Hiên Vân Ceramics inspires the younger generation【Vietnam ShihYi】

In Vietnamese culture, ancient pottery is significant, a heritage from our ancestors. I love it, so I visited a workshop to learn about Hiên Vân's traditional ceramics.
Hiên Vân ceramics carry the beauty of both sculpture and painting, inspired by ancient details. Through traditional methods, traditional clay, and traditional glazes, Hiên Vân ceramics continue the past story of Lý-Trần pottery. Each ceramic product is carefully and meticulously coated with a layer of handcrafted ash glaze. Due to the natural components, ash glaze is difficult to control for uniformity. However, it is this uncontrollability and diversity in flow and accumulation that makes each product natural and unique. This honest glaze does not have the ability to cover or hide the rough, raw texture of the clay but instead merges with it, making the clay softer and more gentle.
