HIGHLIGHTS! ALVAREZ HITS DOUBLE AS CITY GO SECOND | Man City 3-1 Burnley | Premier League
Here's Foden, on towards Matias Nunez.
Now he's got the pace to get round the outside.
Oh, he tried to find Guardiola, he was up there.
Of all players up from the back.
But now he finds Alvarez and City find the first goal.
On his 24th birthday as well, Julian Alvarez makes it 1-0
and immediately goes over to thank, well, Matias Nunez for the present.
De Bruyne scampering forward, oh, that's Sinekup from Ekdal,
and he'll be booked for it.
De Bruyne may be flipping it over, no, it's Alvarez!
Oh, that is a wonderful free kick!
Straight off the training ground, onto the pitch,
and two goals in six minutes, and the birthday boy's on a hat-trick.
De Bruyne, lovely ball, Foden, he's onside.
Rico Lewis is nearby.
Alvarez, well, he'd love to get the chance.
Rodri!
3-0, and maybe in the first minute of the second half, this game is over.
It was a goal similar to the one he scored in Istanbul.
Nowhere near as important, though.
Well, it's a moment we've waited for.
Almost two months he's been out, but Erling Haaland's back.
Lewis scampering forward, Matias Nunez to his right.
Doku's a bit further over.
Cross comes in, Haaland!
Oh, well defended by Dara O'Shea.
Haaland thought that was his moment.
Mofana.
Well, he's got Bjorn Kvardiol.
And, well, it's been bundled in by Alder Keel.
Well, that would have spoiled Ederson's night.
Well, in truth, the game was over in the first minute of the second half.
The Blues are up to second in the table.
They've seen off Vinny's Burnley.
