SUMMER | SIGHTSEEING POOLE PARK, OLD TOWN AND POOLE QUAY | JALAN-JALAN

Hi folks, today's journey we are in Poole and we're actually at the entrance of Poole Park which was opened in 1890 by the Prince of Wales, Queen Victoria's son. It was initially private but it became public in 1890 and has been used and renovated many many times. So we'll take you around the park, let you see what is inside and then we'll move over to the old part of town and Poole Harbour which is the second deepest harbour in the world. So join us, we'll stop for coffee on the way and refreshments and hope you enjoy the trip. Tag along! This is the Dolphin Shopping Centre, so if it's raining outside everything's inside. Watch repairs, perhaps for the Queen. Whatever kind of watch you have you can get fixed here. So today is special day? We're very lucky, today is the last day of a 50% discount which the Chancellor of Exchequer came up with an idea whereby to entice people to go back to the restaurants, you give them a 50% discount. The government will reimburse all the restaurant F&B establishments, that's why they do it. So our bill is three coffees, one croissant, £5.50. Normally how much? £11. Okay, how about the croissant, so 50% or just coffee? And the croissant but no crockery, no cups, no spoons, no forks. Oh that's why it's all paper cups, yeah? That's correct, Susan. All right, well done us! Well, chips, snack before dinner. 5.30, so we've got some chips, ketchup, mayonnaise. Susan's getting some water over there, it's here and there, she's getting the water. Here she comes, back to the chips. Just outside the Antelope Hotel and pub, been open for a couple of hundred years. There's the Antelope up there. Okay folks, that's a wrap.
