Dickie Toys / Majorette - Transformers Robots in Disguise 2 Packs - Optimus Prime and Sideswipe

hey everyone today we're going to look at these Transformers two packs so these are produced by Dicky toys and majorette and you get a pack featuring the robot and you get the vehicle so we've got Optimus and swipe and we're going to look at these so previously I reviewed steel jaw drift and strong arm and we're going to review some more in the future but for now I'm managed to get a hold of these two if you're into diecast cars and or Transformers please do consider subscribing to my channel thank you hopefully I will get the other in this set and we'll do a massive review of all of these guys together enjoy okay so first up let's take a look at the packaging for Optimus Prime and we can see the artwork here looking nice it's really tiny like it's the same size as the other figures and as a result you can see his head has shrunk which I'll show you later on we get the car here and on the back we get the main set to collect so we've got here so I've already reviewed drift and steel jaw today I'm going to do Optimus I've done strong arm as well so these three I've got and I've got Optimus Prime today and sideswipe so bumblebee will be later on this is the stuff I don't know if that's even interesting at all but just for completeness of these reviews comes in this rotatable package and this is just a typical blister package let's get this guy opened after we look at Sid swipe so really similar got the red car and the figure itself it heads a bit bigger than Optimus more proportion and this is the artwork here I just zoom out for a sec so you can see more of it so pretty cool artwork and on the back similar stuff going on collect these and more so they did quite a lot of variations of each of these but I've just got the main ones for now uh these are so old really hard to find luckily I got it for a reasonable price from a online shop in Czech Republic yeah and I used a service called tiptrans which I have done a review on my channel really good I've not had an issue with them there've been some technical kind of miscommunications or the admins just been a bit bit uh misunderstood at times but after an email it's sorted out so not had any issues at all majorly in terms of getting my stuff so really recommend those guys they do like the based in Czech Republic so but they accept packages from anywhere and they've got different bases they've got one in like Hong Kong one in China One in UK and various other places so quite spread out internationally and a good service right anyway back to this that's about it really uh I think there's not much information like in terms of the manufacturer I'm just trying to show it to you but it is like Dicky toys um scan on the package I don't think I'm not sure there is anyway um here we go produ produced by majorette in Thailand so that's where these guys are from and okay let's get these open now so really obviously next to the name it says Dicky toys but produced by majorette so that's the brand where these originate from okay finally got them out of the packet that was a lot of stuff to sort out now let's have a look at this mini Optimus figure made out of rubber PVC probably um it comes with this stand but it's very loose so I'm just going to let that go for now and I will show you up close Okay that's optimus's [Music] face we can see there some very tiny eye Contour there that goes around here this is so tiny this is my this is my nail and that's the size of optimus's head so really really small uh I don't really know how I've even managed to do these little labels but good job um here they've just done a square and like I said proportionately this guy should be bigger because sideswipes head next to this guy's head is a bit bigger so Optimus should be bigger anyway but they've made in the same size for convenience but as a result his head is shrunken and um anyway so let's zoom out and you can see the whole figure here really big chunky legs easy to stand up and the back look like see the two wheels here on each side but funny enough this is just a 4x4 and it's a shame they didn't make it into a six so at the back we can see just some simple painting here for a small figure I think it's been done really well we've got shiny black matte black textured black here Hasbro that's right uh and then we going got scky toys symbol here there you go and then from the top you got this shiny silver shoulder pads then you got this more matte chest piece here or S of silk rather yes it's got some different variations of shine and we've got this gray AB section here so cool little standing like I said I just wish it was a little bit bigger but for what it is cool enough right let's have a look at side swipe so side swipe is looking pretty good he is big enough to have eyes painted on him and again really small the transform this logo is clearer because the figure is the scale of it is bigger than the Optimus one but it does look spot on pretty much with this forward head piece and this Jagged Ridge side on the head um so we go down here and again the design style are these big chunky boots a big chunky carves and [Music] ankles Hasbro there b some rubber but this is zoomed in six times magnification so very very tiny and we've got Dicky toys on the back here so this figure leans slightly this way so I always I've never want to keep things in packaging and this is why because if it's held in place in the wrong position over time the plastic can just permanently stay like that it's good to free everything you know and just display it as it should be so I'll always open my stuff in the end here you can see some black marks on the edge which means that the paint isn't thick enough but you know for a kid's toy you can't I don't really have high expectations for it okay let's zoom out here there we go so I'll later on I'll do it on the turntable so you can see it now for the vehicles the die cars a quick look so Optimus truck first pretty faithful to the design really geometric angular following the cartoon design style this part is metal the cab front and this flat bed that is a cool flat bed I mean this is a kids toy but it's not bad you know all these designs and textures even got a link here to fit onto something I think there might have been a trailer and we've got you know painted lights here and on the front I mean this is like way better than Hot Wheels cuz you get you get all of the tampo you get painted or tamped uh design cues from the cartoon show and I know the Hot Wheels are going to do across with Transformers this year apparently no previews as of yet but I'm really really looking forward to that one to seeing what they do I hope they don't let us down but in the meantime I'm going to fill my collection with these kind of vehicles from other brands so I love this cool like ribbed pattern Grill on the [Music] front and I think the figure's got six wheels this has just got four but you know classic red and blue scheme piece of plastic here on the back and we've got the Smoke Stacks here on the side in plastic as well and underneath Optimus Prime got the name we got this angry face determined face and we've got these albot ribs okay as for side swipe this is his vehicle mode and you know based on the G1 Lamborghini Countach it's got this wedge shaped design it's got a big spoiler here really cool sports car and it's even got some writing here could be Chinese I don't know and similar light design headlight design to the Countach on the front here as well and we've got this lip coming out there and some more writing here so there we go we got even got you know it's been done really quite sharply you know this Grill pattern when the and the blue highlights here yeah really nice touch in metal too so the windows on both of these they're just black probably no interior to save on cost and underneath we get this cool image of sideswipe being Sideswipe from the show very confident a bit cocky but a fun character there we go let's get these guys on the turntable okay first up we've got side swipes alt mode looking really slick [Music] massive wheel archers here okay let's get this guy off and let's go for optimus's truck iconic red and blue looking brilliant okay now for the figures so let's do side swipe here let's put this guy in the middle there we go it's really thin from the side yeah I can't wait to get the rest so I've got a couple of five packs and I think I've got bumblebee Grimlock underbite and the all modes as well so I will unbox those hopefully soon and then put them together for a massive video compilation of all of them out of their packaging and last but not least let's get a big bot on here so here we go Prime himself looking cool bits bit miniature but all the details are there in nearly microscopic level it's so tiny for reference this is a pack of Kleenex tissues it's just massive so compared to Optimus there we go and let's see all these guys together as they're meant to be in the two packs robot and truck and um robot on vehicle mode together looking cool okay let me know what you think in the comments below hope
