The Animation Minute: Weekly News! Jobs! Demo Reels and more! (Jan 22 - Jan 28, 2024)

[Applause] this is the animation [Music] minute welcome back to the animation minute and as always let's start with jobs especially with all the layoffs we need all the jobs that we can get so here say here and here is another post of course sadly right below underneath embracer group has cancelled the game with more layoffs this industry is Bonkers right now this is always awesome this is the animation job Google doc there's so much info in there so definitely check this one out more openings here cross design engineering narrative and so on and Senior gameplay animator and then on a tweet you can go to more games this is very cool you should definitely turn on the sound the sound design is really cool I think this game is I think just came out and it's very very successful but the sound design is really cool cool look very arcadey I love it speaking of games this is really neat I'm definitely pumped for the Apple Vision Pro now we're seeing lots of quest three stuff and apple vision Pro you know design um prototypes and stuff like that but it's is really neat and triy slow horses it's a fantastic show you should absolutely watch it here's a behind the spirited sound as it says here it's a cool article I love sound design in general but this is really cool and speaking of sound here the Reno car in Europe has a collaboration with ji sh this is really cool read the article you can hear the sound there's a movie that goes through the whole thing it's very neat if you're into that kind of stuff and of course you got have some Star Trek stuff that is very cool also sound on if you can I love it and speaking of Star Trek probably still my favorite show is Deep Space 9 oh look at that got to Def find in there this is a massive piece super super cool I love it
