MLS Third Shirts are BACK - Who's getting them and how might they look

The exciting news is that third shirts are back in MLS. Now we have heard that you must sell over 100,000 shirts in order to qualify to get a third shirt and some teams have, unsurprisingly. As you can see there, Messi representing Inter Miami is one of the ones that is going to get a third shirt. LAFC, LA Galaxy, Kansas City and Portland Timbers being the others that we know of so far. So what might we see? As usual rumors abound and there are a lot of ideas going around for which clubs might make which shirts. Now for my money one of the most interesting ones is Inter Miami's third kit which rumors say is going to be an homage to the Miami Dolphins. So what might that look like? I might have it like this. I've mocked this up using obviously those beautiful colors using the adidas trefoil which they've done with a lot of their European clubs recently turning the badge into those colors and using the iconic dolphin as a sort of overlay over the shirt. I mean it's obviously going to look nothing like this but I thought it was fun. Next up, courtesy of footy headlines, we know that Galaxy's next third shirt will include this color scheme. So what could this look like? Well maybe this. I had a lot of fun with this one. I've used the trefoil again. I put the stripe down reminiscent of the the last away kit that's absolutely classic and I've added a little inlaid pattern of that sparkle that says LA Galaxy to me. I will buy that in a second. Finally we are told by footy headlines that these will be the colors for New York City's next away kit. So what could that look like? I could probably not like this because well it's quite boring but the colors match in the right places and I think it looks quite classic. If they did want to liven it up maybe they could do this.
