13 elementary school students burned to death in locked dormitory in China

At 11 p.m. on January 19, a fire broke out in the dormitory of Yingcai School in Yanshanpu Village, Dushu Town, Henan Province. The county's fire brigade quickly organized rescue efforts and extinguished the flames by 11:38 p.m. The incident resulted in the death of 13 nine-year-old male students, with one person injured. All 13 deceased were third-grade male students at the elementary school.
