Engaging + Enjoyable - conversation starters for kids - Game Recommendation and Review

hi everybody it's Jennifer continuing with my little miniseries on games that are going to help you with your English and your speaking and I have conversation cards for kids today love this I reviewed the um conversation cards for families last week this one is for kids great for families of course also great for you teachers out there English teachers um just classroom teachers speech therapists so much fun so you get 400 questions in here take out a question card and then the way I play it is one person is the asking person and the other people are the participants or the listeners the person who is asking who has the card must say the person's name that they are talking to and asking the question then that person answers the question question everyone in the group must pay attention must be respectful must be watching listening I also encourage active listening like nodding your head smiling making some sort of reaction to the person actually knows that you are paying attention and listening we are not allowed to interrupt anyone who is listening until the person finishes who is providing the answer and then we go around the circle and every person must comment on their story with something of course that is related they must ask a followup question if I have a smaller group I will allow people in the group to offer something that is related which is maybe a related story to them or a related experience that gets a little bit more difficult when you have a large group so again in my large groups I just keep it too you can make a comment or ask a followup question that is on topic let me give you some more of these questions what do you love to do over summer break which animated character are you most like what makes someone good at sport the writing is really nice it's like super easy to read love that would you enjoy traveling to lots of different countries why or why not what takes a lot of time but is totally worth it I mean just great simple questions let's face it when you are teaching all day sometimes your brain just draws a blank and you can't think of anything so this is great you can just pick one out super quickly have a little um active sort of break with the kids talking a lot it is just great love that this is such a small box you can carry this in your bag keep it on your desk I just can't say enough great things about these conversation card games I love them so much and thank you will too I will go ahead and put the link to this in the description below in full disclosure I do get commission um for any of these that I do sell but I like them so much I did want to share them with you so highly recommend
