(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights SC Freiburg - Union Berlin

In the starting line-up for the first time today, Yuranovic, that's a block. Oh, it hasn't really been dealt with. There was a certain amount of hesitation. Matkango's going on the overlap. Salah doesn't need him, that's curling towards Vincenzo Grifo. And again! Oh, good reaction save. Marvellous stuff from Ronald. Grifo's effort, and they put together an attack. Yuranovic, he's back up again and back in position. The numbers, just slightly favouring Freiburg. And that would have favoured them a lot more. That's another chance. And he keeps not finding the target. That one over the top of Robin Knocher's head. Raising of a flag or two. Moves it. Salah again. There's no way he's going to get a shot away. That's dropped nicely for Royal, tries to dink it over the top. Good turn. Freiburg able to come forward now. Merlin Royal going all on his own, he can do it. Salah, they're queuing up at the back post. Gregoric, that wasn't where he wanted the ball. And now we're gone. No score. Good work from Vincenzo Grifo, and it's so very close. How did Gregoric not turn that one home there? Lucien Haberer tries from distance. Freiburg backpedalling right now, and an easy catch. One of the shortest men on the field, got a header away. Christian Schreier's men try and tip the balance. It's dropped for Royal, and it's straight into the arms of Frederic Ronald. Will probably have the ball real soon. He's had another check of his watch. That's it. It's all over. The New Year starts with a draw for Freiburg and Union. It's finished. Freiburg nil, Union nil.
