I get this right, back charging definitely.
People Deluded, I'm back again.
Come on Ian.
As the big man Ian Wright just said there,
People Deluded, I'm back again.
Appreciative to all of you lot tuned in.
Please do me a favour.
Get the creative juices flowing immediately on Ivan Tony,
on Benzema and anything we discuss, people.
Don't forget to subscribe and smash the like button.
Journey to 70k.
Now at the time of making this vid, it's 6.30am.
Nonetheless, people have woken up and Ivan Tony who,
you know, if I was a Brentford fan,
I wouldn't say hate.
Hate is a strong word, but I'd be very disappointed with Ivan Tony,
you know, in a sense of he's never shy to talk in the media
about his ambitions and all of those sort of things.
And yeah, you know, as he's about to return to Premier League action
after his eight-month ban,
he has given an interview where he's actually said,
I think it's obvious I want to play for a top club.
Now with the greatest of respect to Brentford,
I think they're a great club,
but I think Ivan Tony's got ambitions to play in Europe
and play for one of the traditional top six.
As we know, apart from City, really,
you can make a case for Chelsea, Manchester United, Spurs,
Newcastle, Arsenal, anyone who's in and around that to sign a striker.
And Ivan Tony, someone that's continuously linked with Arsenal,
whether we get him is another thing.
But let's go over everything.
I think it's obvious I want to play for a top club.
It's obvious I want to play for a top club and fight for titles.
Yes, if a club was to pay the right money,
then who knows, January or whenever it's the right time,
I'll be ready.
I want to enjoy it and play now.
Now he did say in a previous interview,
he wants to repay Brentford for the faith shown in him.
We know he's got 18 months left on his deal.
He looks like in a day and age where there isn't too many
household name strikers available or just widespread,
he's someone that could be available now.
It's going to cost top whack, top money.
If you're going to buy him in January,
you've heard 80 to 100 million, but he's changed agents.
He's got 18 months left on his deal.
And as stated, he's never been shy to speak about his ambitions, people.
So, yeah, man, the man hasn't been shy at all in speaking about such.
But what it's worth though, Sammy Mote-Bell has said,
Arsenal aren't actively seeking to sign a striker right now,
but if an opportunity arises later on in the window,
they may react, which we've heard before.
Ivan Tony is a serious target,
but that is one that the club will likely pursue at the end of the season
when spending limitations won't be so restrictive, people.
Assuming we can get some players out the door,
assuming we get Champions League football and the money that provides as well.
And imagine, you'd imagine, you know,
depending on when the accounting date fits, KSE will inject some funds.
That isn't something we haven't heard before.
In the aftermath of the Liverpool game,
Mikel Arteta himself said a striker is very unlikely.
And whether we get a striker or not,
we have to maximise getting the best out of our existing players,
in my humble opinion as well.
Ivan Tony, who scored 21 goals in 35 appearances
in all comps last term for Brentford,
hasn't kicked a ball in the Premier League,
obviously for the betting scandal.
As we all know, once again, it's understood
both Arsenal and Chelsea are weighing up big money moves
for the England international,
who gave a timely reminder of his quality
in front of goal with a hat-trick for Brentford's B team
earlier this month.
Ivan Tony appeared to distance himself
from ongoing speculation this week,
as he indicated that he had no thoughts
about leaving Brentford in an official video
on their official channel, people.
But just two days on,
during an in-depth interview with Sky Sports,
Tony could not categorically rule out
the possibility of a move away from the GTEC community stadium
before January's transfer deadline.
He said,
I don't know, you can never predict
when it's the right time to move elsewhere,
but it's obvious that I would like to play for a top club.
Everyone wants to play for top clubs,
fighting for titles and these kinds of things.
So whether it's in January or whenever the time is right,
if a club were to come in and pay the right money,
who knows?
But my main focus is doing what I do on the pitch
and let the background work take care of itself.
Fair enough.
He then said,
I feel like a free man,
a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I can't wait to get back enjoying
and playing football this Saturday,
so it'll be good.
Things happen in life,
you take it on the chin,
you move forward with it.
I should have been playing
and helping the team perform well,
but there's obviously still good players in the team
that also have a role to do
and step in when needed.
As we know, Brentford,
I don't think they'll get relegated,
but they're four or five points off the relegation zone.
They've got injuries,
they're struggling.
Ivan told me he's a talisman.
They probably want him
to help them remain in the Premier League.
You want to move on in the summer,
you do what needs to be done.
I do feel kind of bad,
but it is what it is.
I can't dwell on it too much.
I can't change it,
so what is done is done,
which is true, people.
And then he said,
to be the best,
you have to compete against the best.
Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world.
He's been doing it for years now.
If I want to be England's number one,
then I have to compete against him
and he's not a bad striker
to be taking tips from him
when I'm training with him.
I've just got to keep scoring goals,
playing well,
and who knows what will happen.
If I fall just short of that,
then hopefully I can become
the second best in the world.
Now, I like his ambition,
not just when he speaks about
wanting to be the best striker,
which is obviously a factor,
or moving to another club.
Even when he speaks about,
I believe I'm going to score goals,
I just like his mentality
and I think Arsenal need some,
in a nice way,
nasty players like that
with the greatest of respect
to Gabriel Jesus, for example.
And I'm taking his words out of context
and I think Jesus has that desire
and all of that stuff.
But when you hear a striker saying,
goals ain't their strong point,
which again,
I'm taking what Jesus said
out of context,
and then you hear what
Ivan Toni said,
that's what I kind of want
if I'm completely honest with you.
Let me know your thoughts
on everything we've discussed
so far, people.
I saw something on Emil Smith-Rowe.
Oh, it's gone really.
There it is.
I did see something
on Emil Smith-Rowe, people.
Arsenal starts on selling
Smith-Rowe makeshift
to bring in new players, people.
Arsenal starts on selling
Smith-Rowe makeshift
so the club can bring in new players.
As we know,
we're treading a close line
where profit and sustainability
are there.
Allegedly, in the summer,
Chelsea made an inquiry.
Obviously, they went
and got Cole Palmer.
He has drawn interest
from Newcastle
and Aston Villa.
While Mikel Arteta
is keen to keep Smith-Rowe,
the manager admits
he will not stand
in the Englishman's way
should he wish to depart.
He said,
this is a two-way conversation
all the time with players.
I love listening to them
about how they are feeling,
what is best for them
or what they want to do
because you really have
to be aligned with them
and how they're feeling
and they have to feel
important, people.
It's thought the player
is not keen to leave Arsenal
at this current moment in time,
which is music to my ears
when Emil Smith-Rowe
is concerned, people.
Apparently,
Benzema is exploring
his options
in the January transfer window
after six underwhelming months
at Alitalia.
Sources have told
Julian Lorenz.
Apparently, the Premier League
could be an option
for Benzema
with multiple clubs
including Chelsea
showing interest.
What is going on
in Saudi Arabia?
Why is all the players
trying to leave?
For a variety of reasons, people.
Are they not being paid
their money?
Apparently, he's exploring
his options, as stated.
Apparently, according
to Fraz Fletcher,
who I don't know
for his creative
credibility,
with it being
transfer news
and these journalists
needing to get paid
and he's obviously
got a verified account,
people can just talk nonsense.
But nonetheless,
Arsenal are considering
a blockbuster loan deal
for superstar striker Benzema
although London rivals
Chelsea have also
discussed a move
for the Frenchman.
It's going to be a very
expensive loan deal, really.
As it says here,
they're considering
such people at 36 years of age.
I don't know
if this is something
to be done.
Team Talk have been told
that Arsenal are considering
Benzema if they can get
the veteran attacker
on a temporary deal.
As we know,
it's no secret
Mikel Arteta needs
a number 9
after both Jesus and Enquetia
may not be good enough
in terms of scoring goals
and like with the strikers,
the attackers,
the midfielders,
the whole team isn't
scoring at all.
We all know Cedric Suarez
is moving closer
to potentially a move
to Besiktas.
Football London
has said midfield
is an area Arsenal
would like to strengthen in
although this is unlikely
to be in January.
The club have yet to decide
if they take up
an option to extend
Eugenio's contract
by a further 12 months
but it's expected
they will look towards
the long-term future
of the defensive midfield
position in the summer
regardless.
Martin Zubermendy
and Douglas Luiz
are both targets
while sources at the club
have distanced themselves
from rumours linking
to a potential deal
for Olana.
Smith-Rowe and Nelson
have been linked
with a move away.
Between them,
the pair have started
just one Premier League
match this season
and both are keen
to secure game time.
However,
Arsenal's biggest concern
internally is whether
their current squad
has the depth to challenge
for both the Prem
and the Champs.
I mean,
if we're saying this in Jan
this should have been
a discussion that was said
in the summer.
It is what it is.
If either Haylender
were to leave
they would need replacement.
Contingency plans
have been made for this
but as of yet
no concrete offers
have come in.
It's a similar case in goal
where Aaron Ramsdale
has been linked
with an exit.
Chelsea, Newcastle
and Wolves
have all been muted
as potential destinations
for the England goalkeeper
who is unlikely to see
much game time
between now
and this summer's Euros
with Arsenal out of
both domestic cup competitions.
All three clubs
are sailing close to the win
when it comes to
FFP restrictions.
Arsenal's stance is that
they would like to keep him
but no player is off limits
if an offer comes in
at the right price.
This policy should come
into play of Eddie Nketiah
the England striker
has again been linked
with Crystal Palace this month.
Arsenal struggle for goals
this season
but are unlikely to be able
to sign another forward
without significant sales
and Nketiah could bring
in a decent feed
but he again would need
replacing
as much of Arsenal's
potential business this month
is something of a catch-22.
He can't sell
before he can buy
and can't buy
before he can sell
it's a mad thing really
and truly.
I've never watched
this chapter
the next Ukrainian player
Georgy Sodikov
unless he's played for Ukraine
which I have watched frequently
on international level
and he's never caught my eye.
Nonetheless, allegedly
Juventus, Napoli and Arsenal
are all interested
in the 21-year-old
Ukrainian midfielder
and apparently
he received the award
for the best player
of the Ukrainian league
with our scouting
of Mikhail Modzik
which that pursuit
ultimately didn't end up
in us signing the player
you'd imagine
we're keeping our eyes
and ears open
to the Ukrainian market
as much as every other
division people.
full-back signing
has to be versatile
that can play either Frank,
Eddie and Ketty
as position at Arsenal
will come under scrutiny
further scrutiny next season
40 million off
of contempt to Arsenal
Arsenal will likely
pursue Ivan Toni
at the end of the season.
In the pursuit
of defensive reinforcements
Arsenal and Liverpool
have been linked
with Rayad Adnouri
who plays for Wolves
and is quietly
attacking full-back.
Apparently Wolves
value him at 50 million
so you could probably
categorically rule out
a move for Arsenal
signing him.
He's currently away
at the Africa Cup of Nations
and will return
by mid-February
and the 22-year-old people
you know is a very
attacking full-back
I like him a lot
he tends to play
quite well against Arsenal
but it's easy to link us
with things.
Once again we know
Cedric Suarez
could be joining
Besiktas
it's unclear if that's
on loan or permanent
or agreeing a move
for the summer now
but apparently he's
agreed personal terms
with Besiktas people.
Arsenal allegedly
have a strong
interest in signing
PSG's attacker
attacking midfielder
Xavi Simmonds
who's currently at
Leipzig on loan people
I would love him
for what it's worth.
Apparently according to
German publication
Blin
which means I'm a bit
pessimistic on this
Leipzig are keen for
Simmonds' deal to be
extended to 2025
but PSG are yet
to make a decision
over the future
of the Netherlands
international.
He should really be
in PSG's first team.
Reports claim Arsenal
the club's
one of the clubs
monitoring the situation
along with Inter Milan
and Simmonds'
former side Barcelona
though non-concrete
approaches have been
made by any of
the youngsters'
potential suitors.
Arsenal are scouring
the market for
attacking reinforcements
but are understood to be
prioritising a move
for a top-class
centre-forward
with Brentford's
Ivan Toni
Napoli's Victor Rosserman
and obviously of late
Alexander Izak
of Newcastle
all currently being
linked people.
Arteta once said
we're open for
transfer market
but the emphasis is
on making the most
of the players we have.
When asked if there's
a possibility about
signing anyone
he said yes
that is a possibility
we'll work with the
club to understand
if there are any
possibilities and
whether we have any
good options
but first of all
we'll focus on the
players we already
have.
Arteta probably knows
if we have the
facilities to sign
players.
Arsenal and Liverpool
are being linked
with Douglas Luiz
we've been told it
will cost up to
100 million to
sign him in the
summer and they
point towards the
sales of Declan Rice
from West Ham to
Arsenal and
obviously from
Brighton to Chelsea
and Caicedo's case
to leverage what
they want people
so who knows where
that's concerned
people.
Arsenal have been
linked with
Estalvio Willian
who's been linked
with Chelsea,
Barcelona and
just about anyone
and apparently
we're willing to
go to war for him
he can't move
until he's 18
he's currently 16
so he'd have to
wait until 2025.
Palmires' current
club are demanding
50 million dollars
for him people
but that transfer
could be negotiated
according to AS
Hendricks' eventual
move to Real Madrid
came to a base
of 35 million euros
with a whopping
25 million euros
in add-ons
so with a young
Brazilian player
potentially being
sold to the
European market
they're going to
want top dollar
people so yeah
let me know your
thoughts on everything
we've discussed
what do you think
of the young
Estalvio Willian
what do you make
of a move
potentially to
Ivan Toni
are you confident
Arsenal will sign
anyone and anything
else we've discussed
people.
