Hi you guys, Erin and baby Liv here and welcome back to Eat Move Rest and Happy New Year.
Yes, it is now 2022 and I don't know about you guys, but I am ready for a fresh start.
So today we've got some exciting news, we are bringing a challenge to you.
But before we jump into that, we also have another exciting announcement.
So the plant-based bundle is back.
It had since expired, but it is back again by popular demand.
Even my brother and his girlfriend had wanted to grab it, but they didn't before it expired.
So now is your chance if you were in the same boat as them.
And if you did grab a previous bundle, I will say I looked and counted, there are actually
over 20 new e-books as well as new courses and other content.
So what you're getting is over 100 plus plant-based e-books, courses, other content, guides, meal
plans, you name it.
There is a ton of variety for only $50.
This is a one-time payment and you own all of the content for life.
There's absolutely no catch and it's over $4,000 in value.
So even if you only went for the 20 new e-books in this bundle, it is totally worth your money.
So check it out, everything will be linked in the description below.
And now for today's video, we're going to be sharing three green smoothie recipes that
don't taste like greens.
So you'll want to be sure and jot these down or better yet, grab the Eat Move Rest meal
planner because all three recipes have just been uploaded.
And we are bringing you guys a smoothie challenge for the month of January.
Not just any smoothie challenge, we are challenging you to swap one meal or snack a day for a
healthy smoothie instead.
Now I'm not saying to swap your healthy kale salad for a smoothie, what I'm saying is to
maybe upgrade a snack or a meal that isn't so healthy with a smoothie instead.
So why swapping smoothies for our regular meals and snacks?
Plain and simple, it's the best way to pack a powerful punch of nutrition and they taste
amazing.
So especially if you are trying to do more raw foods, more greens, and you're not loving
your kale salad or your spinach salad, cram it into the blender, add in some fruit, maybe
a tasty protein powder for an added boost of nutrition and energy, and you are good
to go.
They're easy to take out the door with you and if you're having a difficult time acquiring
a taste for things like kale or even certain fruits, smoothies again can mask a lot of
these flavors that you aren't used to until you become used to them.
So your gut flora will actually begin to change and in time, your taste buds literally begin
to change.
So it's a great way to acquire a taste for healthier foods.
If you want to participate in the smoothie swap challenge, there will be three chances
to win.
So the grand prize winner will win a Vitamix Ascent blender.
This is top of the line, the nicest blender on the market.
Dusty and I will be paying for it, sending it to one of our amazing subscribers, so be
sure to participate.
Second and third prize, we'll be winning a bundle from Sun Warrior, some of our favorite
plant proteins, our super greens powder that we love, and some other goodies as well.
All you have to do to be part of the challenge is use hashtag smoothie swap on Instagram.
You can share on your stories, you can do a static post on your feed, making sure to
also tag us at Aaron Stanzik, at DB Stanzik, and at eatmoverest.
So if you use that hashtag and the handles, we'll be sure to see your posts and your stories.
We're going to pile everything together so we can select our three winners on February
1st.
So good luck to all of you guys.
Let's get right into this blended new year.
So for our three green smoothies that don't taste like greens, we're going to be starting
with a tropical green smoothie, then heading into a wild blueberry green smoothie and ending
with a chocolate cherry green smoothie.
And while not all three are green in color, they are all packed full of greens.
So there are so many different varieties of greens you can add into your smoothies, as
well as rotating your fruits to make sure you get a wide variety of nutrition.
There are three things we always make sure to include in our smoothies besides the greens.
Number one would be healthy carbohydrates in the form of fruit for fuel, plant protein
for sustained energy, and healthy fats for brain, hair, skin, and nails, and heart function.
All three macronutrients.
Now let's get blending.
Green smoothie recipe number one.
This has been my longtime favorite.
I've been blending up for Dusty and I for years and years.
Usually I blend for two, but I'm going to cut the recipe in half and blend single servings.
So if you're doing this challenge alone, it will be much simpler for you.
You won't have to do the math.
So for this recipe, you're going to need a liquid of your choice.
We're just going to use water.
So one and a half cups of water, one tablespoon of chia seeds, a half tablespoon of Dulse
Flakes, which is a fantastic sea veggie source of iodine, one half sliced green apple, one
cup of frozen pineapple and or frozen mango, one and a half frozen bananas, our dino kale,
one scoop of vanilla sun warrior warrior blend protein, and one scoop of sun warrior super
greens for an added green boost.
In order to get the smoothest blend without things caking and sticking, you'll want to
start with a base of your liquid, then add in your powders and your seeds.
And from there, add in any fresh greens or fresh fruits and veggies, then frozen at the
top.
It's going to make for the smoothest blend and be the kindest to your blender blades.
When we got married, we got our first blender.
We decided to go plant based.
We also decided it was time to up our protein game and go from a whey protein to a plant
protein.
We tried a bunch of them within about a month or two time and we settled on sun warrior.
It by far beat out all the rest.
It's raw, it's vegan, it's USDA certified organic, it has been vetted, it has been tested
for all kinds of heavy metals and it passes the test with flying colors.
The best part is it makes your smoothies taste next level.
If you're interested in trying any of the sun warrior product line, they not only have
protein, they have other supplements, they have algae omegas, they have mineral blends,
so many good things.
You can use Eat Move Rest for 20% off and you can even get bundles at up to 30% off.
So we'll link everything below in the description for you.
So there you've got it.
Green smoothie number one is a vibrant green tropical smoothie.
My other favorite green smoothie combination is my wild blueberry green smoothie.
I love this one because wild blueberries are wildly high in antioxidants.
So you get your regular variety of blueberries fresh from the grocery store, but the wild
variety is a much smaller berry and it packs a much more powerful punch in the antioxidant
department.
So for this smoothie you're going to need one and a half cups of liquid.
We're just using water again.
You'll need one tablespoon of flax seeds, a half tablespoon of dulse flakes for iodine
again.
Your protein is optional.
We're going to be adding one scoop of sun warrior vanilla warrior blend.
You can also use unflavored, you could also use their Tahitian vanilla collagen protein
and you'll also want to use one scoop of the sun warrior super greens.
You'll need half a green apple, one to two stalks of celery, a couple of heaping handfuls
of spinach, one and a half frozen bananas and one heaping cup of frozen wild blueberries.
So this one actually works great for kiddos who are apprehensive when it comes to drinking
anything green.
They will never know.
We've already touched on a tropical green and an antioxidant rich green.
This one is going to be a beautifying green smoothie.
So the star players here are frozen raspberries and frozen cherries.
They're super high in vitamin C, which helps our body to produce more of its own collagen.
So for this recipe you will need one and a half cups of liquid.
Again we are using water.
You'll need one tablespoon of hemp seeds, a half tablespoon of dulse flakes, the juice
of one lime, one scoop of chocolate sun warrior warrior blend.
We love the chocolate in this one with the cherries.
You'll also need two or three large colored green leaves.
They're literally about this big.
It's an amazing green for smoothies if you haven't tried that one before.
And frozen ingredients are half scoop of frozen raspberries, one scoop of frozen cherries,
one and a half frozen bananas, and then optionally you can also add in a small coin slice of
ginger, about like this size, for an added anti-inflammatory benefit.
Also for this recipe, instead of the sun warrior super greens, I'm going to be adding the beauty
greens collagen booster.
This is another favorite of mine.
Ready?
There you have it, our beautifying chocolate cherry green smoothie.
So I hope you guys enjoy trying these three green smoothie recipes.
Again, you can get our Eat Move Rest meal planner with tons more smoothies, smoothie
bowls, and nice creams.
They all count for the smoothie swap challenge.
