Exploring Canyon Lake Texas | Potters Creek Park | Cranes Mill Park

Was I in for a huge surprise! I had no idea! WE headed out to see the 2023 Annular Eclipse. The best available campsites were just a little of the center line for the eclipse were at Canyon Lakes Potters Creek Park.
We are certainly no strangers to USACE campgrounds as we have camped most of them in Texas. Potters Creek was still a surprise for us! I am sure you are wondering what could be so surprising about another COE campground.
Potters Creek park has been one of the best kept public campgrounds that we have camped since this channel was started. Almost no litter, great level campsites, lots of wildlife, clean bathrooms and hot showers really round out and make Potters Creek a great place to camp.
