CITROEN C3 AIRCROSS UNVEILED

[Music] the compact SUV space is ever growing and hopping in now is the sequence C3 air cross initially we thought that it will rival the likes of the creta or celtos but that's a lucky three row five plus two sitting configuration then we thought that it will go up against the Alcazar or the currents but positioning I think that's something we need to understand and all that details coming up in this video [Music] [Applause] [Music] now beginning with the design first you see similar C2 and Design Elements here we have seen these elements in the C3 also C5 baby as a treatment where you have got halogen headlights no projector units or no LED headlight here uh split setup you get drlc on the top on the side here a chunky Grill finished in piano black chunky skatepet here finished and silver yeah and a good amount of sculpting on the bumper which continues to the site on the fender as well now the wheel wells are quite chunky themselves and you get big 17 inch alloy wheels I quite like the design of these Jewel tone alloy wheels now in profile the C2 and C3 Air cost maintains its boxes silver and it gets bold cladding all around Crown clearance is of 200 millimeters and you also get a segment leading wheelbase of 2671 millimeters the car is 4.3 meters long and also you see dual tone uh contrast in the paint job so here you have the white roof and you have got the blue paint shade here also the dope panels are finished you know quite flush you don't see any sharp character line here but you see a decent amount of sculpting towards the rear you know here towards the quarter glass area there is no quarter glass as such but yes you have got a decent crossover like styling right going over here now I specifically like the rear of the C2 and C3 air cross looks quite Urban and cool uh you also have got this sharp frequent on the tail lights here uh piano black finish running the width of the boot gate also secret lettering and chunky skid plate here down on the bumper you also have got gold cladding so yes looks very Urban very cool you have got a flat end at the rear so you know builds up on the SUV and crossover stands of the car now since we are here let me quickly show you the boot space of the C3 air cross [Music] 11 liters of the loading lip is a bit higher but as we told you earlier that this will be offered in the five plus two seating configuration Soha those seats when you'll have seven people on board specifically the third row is designed only for children but yes can be very useful you when you have more people on board [Music] now the cabin of the C3 aircross is done very nicely uh you also see a very well balanced very good color treatment here uh you have got this page here at the lower section black on the top and piano black finish on the central console also silver inserts here so yes it feels very plush in the way it's been executed but features like you have got only manual controls for the aircon the operation you also have got a manual start stop the system here so no engine start stop though you have got this 10 inch infotainment system with all connectivity options so Android auto Apple car players sorry options also in terms of storage space so you have got bigger bins here and a place to keep your phone for your cup holders and this folding arm rest operation so no fixed armist in the central console also in terms of materials in terms of soft touch finish then you have got this hard plastic here but in terms of color treatment it feels very balanced and in terms of material it feels very good very well executed there are a few key features missing in the C3 air cross Auto climate control for starters and then you also don't get to see modern features we are so used to seeing in cars these days like wireless charging wireless connectivity options ventilated seats Auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers these are features that we see even in hatchback these days and given the competitive segment it's entering it would have upped the feel good Factor so we are in the second row of the C3 air cross and this is the five seater configuration so yes single seater or no split seat set up here and the leg room is quite good in fact the longest wheelbase in the segment reflects well here in the second row I have got decent knee room uh the floor is also set quite low so under high support and the middle passenger for uh him or her it will be a bit difficult because of this transmission tunnel in terms of features you have two charging points here but no rear air convents which perhaps is a big mess what I could also have liked was a real Sun blind in this segment and overall use of light colors you know enhances the sense of space so yes a decent cabin to be in just that 30 watt features foreign rear AC Vents and split folding seats are features that are limited to just the seven seater version and I feel that it should have been standard on the C3 air cross that said the sense of plushness this cabinet suits makes up to an extent so this is the seven seater or the five plus two seater version of the C3 air cross and you have got these folding seats here in the third row now these seats individually can be taken out uh when you know when you have only five people on board and when you have more people on board uh you have these seats for them so for more luggage you can take out these seats and use the boot and if you have more people on board these are the seats which you can put it in and accommodate more people and now finally coming to what's offered Under This Hood it will be a 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine that's for sure but specifications and for now it's offered only with a six-speed manual transmission automatic transmission
