A stroll through Lower Slaughter Gloucestershire and the River Eye July 2022

Well now it's uh sadly it's bin day but we are right now at what is known as the slaughters there's upper and lower slaughter and we're at lower slaughter quintessentially the Cotswolds and what pretty places we see here tucked away quiet and peaceful this is the mill it's closed today on a Tuesday but inside is a shop and a place you can eat and have some refreshments a nice little place lots of walkers it gets gives you a feel of the area gently flowing water some more houses a grey cottage briar cottage no slaughter reckoned to be one of the hidden gems in Britain no coaches come down here it's uh it's just people in private cars who come here and park up this is a nice little area this is what this is my favourite house i'm just coming to now this is the one on the right hand side here does that mean photographed slaughters country inn in here let's have a quick look at this while we're here
