Leipzig Airport is Germany's second busiest freight airport, following Frankfurt. But Leipzig is my personal favourite airport in Europe. It is a base for both Volga and ADB Antonov AN124s, along with DHL. I have never seen an airport with such strange and unique aircraft flying in and out on a regular bases, like the Silkway West IL76, Cavok AN12s and ADB AN74.

This video features a variety of aircraft arriving and departing off both the northern and southern side of the airport that I filmed back in October of 2021, during my European filming trip. It also includes the now destroyed AN-225 back when she was flying!
