(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR - BOURNEMOUTH

of 2023, a New Year's Eve meeting against the in-form Bournemouth, with 1-6. Kluivert, Christy, still with Ryan Christy, clever ball, Watara, in towards Solanke, there's the threat, and you'd back him to do much better in that situation than the head coach who was surprisingly sacked in the summer. Bentecourt steps in, Lo Celso does too, Sarr, Brennan Johnson with him, still Sarr, yes! Sensational from Sarr, some start from Spurs, it doesn't matter Sarr, on New Year's Eve, jumps it past Neto, into the Bournemouth net, but it's suddenly opened up, and look at the away from Smith, Midogui, doesn't shoot, it's back to Son, trying to really play through here Spurs, too congested, Emerson Royale told to shoot, and he does! Couraged and he answered. There's no escaping that punishment, Bentecourt back to goal away from Christy, Richarlison, trying to do that centre forward work and he's done it so so well, Son, Johnson with him, what will he do here, Son goes for goal, Kluivert, Sinisterra, great football, Tavernier was round the back, there is certainly a threat about the Cherries, Smith in, and the header from Solanke, given the difficulty of the chance, wasn't bad, centre backs are a threat, Solanke's a threat, and so is Lunes Sinisterra, Christy, oh what a pass that is, Cook goes in, Tavernier, will he get the angle he wants, just deflected on its way through to Vicario, if any shot there should skid along the surface, Billing and Traore, normal free kick takers, this one is being left to Tavernier, that is extremely close, Sinisterra running at Pedro Porro, wants the shooting angle, Bentecourt, he's denied, Kluivert, Tavernier, hangs it out, Sinisterra, Solanke wants it, and it's off the bar via deflection, having been pretty solid in the opening two or three months of the season, during this time, and Foster-Cole who won manager of the month, headed down, palmed out by Vicario, Son does work it to Lo Celso now, off goes Lo Celso, off goes Spurs, clips it, to the captain, who slides in Richarlison, what a chance for 2-0, and Richarlison who has been in super form of late, Sinisterra, he's bamboozled the Spurs midfield with that, Christy, Tavernier, Davis fouled by Solanke, Udoge slips on the wet surface, finds him in Son, Poipier, Richarlison, Lo Celso goes early, he's spotted Son, Son does shoot this time, finish, there's that two goal cushion, there's that captain, to sign off of the year, Poipier and Richarlison with the link up, he's well onside, he is well onside, and what a strike, and will that just knock the stuffing out of Bournemouth, I don't think so, they played with belief today, skip around Cook, and waiting in the middle is Son, Richarlison, great save by Neto, Brennan Johnson with options in the middle, and Richarlison, it's the real Richarlison, footloose hand to Elegant, from Johnson to Richarlison, 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur, and they open the game against the Toffees, didn't even look up, didn't need to, and Richarlison breezes it past Neto, Semenyuk, Tavernier, Billing, Tavernier, good football, and it's a really smooth goal, and Alex Scott has scored his first for Bournemouth, 6 minutes of the 90 to go, just cut through Spurs here with really nice play, Tavernier working a series of one-twos before finding Scott, Son, Poipier will offer himself on the outside, Son, can anyone get a clear shot away here, no, Brian Hill has never scored for Spurs, he has not come closer than this, Tavernier, there's still a whiff of uncertainty in the air, Semenyuk thumps a shot at the very dependable Vicario, Spurs have a couple of weeks for that match, Solanke, there's a header, and this one drifts wide, it's Tavernier, what a ball, they have scored again, although Scott does not have a second because he was offside, Spurs sign off for 2023 by beating Bournemouth, and it was a hard-fought win for Alex Postakoglu's men.
