Marsollek Brothers play Mozart and traditional German folk -persecuted in Germany, celebrated in countries around the world

Brothers Miles (8) and Maddox Marsollek (10) promote kindness with their traditional and classical music.
They lost their father at an early age but their mother, Simone Marsollek nurtured their passion for beautiful music and art. She battled the German school authority that tried to force the children to go to school, although they skipped several grades due to their giftedness and perception. They are schooled online and in homeschooling. Homeschooling is illegal and persecuted in Germany, but in law there are loopholes for extraordinary gifted children or other exceptions.
Nevertheless, compulsory schooling is often enforced despite valid reasons, even if the law would allow it, so that many children and families suffer, including coercive detention for parents or are fined heavily. The Marsollek family is no exception.
Two times, she won in German court, so their homeschooling was legalized – but was recently fined again.
Miles studies the violin with Mika Yonezawa, the deputy concertmaster of the Komische Oper Berlin.
His older brother Maddox studies the piano with Elisaveta Blumina, Echo award winner.
Having found their passion early on in life, they also enjoy airplanes, dinosaurs and share numerous hobbies, such as painting and playing with miniature trains and their friends.
