(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights Liverpool - Man Utd

Like no other, the seasons roll by, circumstances change, but the venom and the emotion always remains. Alexander-Arnold with the corner, the header by Edse van Dijk at the back post. And touched over the top by Onana. Yeah, it came at him quite fast, didn't it? He's always going to be the target. Simicas with the ball in. Oh, Canate got there as well. Shane disappointed that he didn't get that on target. No. Certainly van Dijk and Canate are the ones that they'll look for with an aerial threat. Yeah, he will be disappointed. Salah. Alexander-Arnold! Just inches wide, keeper was rooted to the spot. Still 0-0. It is still 0-0. McTominay, look at Ante on the right-hand side. McTominay. Hoyland! And again! Oh, that was the chance, that was the moment United have worked so hard for. They've worked it well. Hoyland's big opportunity. He's denied by Alisson. Yeah. Here's Mo Salah. Mo Salah, Gomez! Joe Gomez has not scored in his previous 228 appearances for club and country. United couldn't, could they? It'd be a nice time, wouldn't it? Here's Rashford. Rashford, great ball across! Oh, driven across and no-one in a white shirt could get a touch. At the other end, here comes Mo Salah. Mo Salah, Evans and Deleux together, well played Diogo Deleux. It was five minutes that was added on, so we're into the last two. Has he just splashed a yellow there as well? Deleux, I'm not sure what for. Oh, not two yellows. No. Deleux has been sent off right at the end of the game. And that is it, United make their point. Their first draw of the season, their first draw for 24 Premier League games. A performance of organisation, of determination and of passion. United have answered a few critics today. Liverpool nil, Manchester United nil.
