Oh, the disguise ball's been played in behind and Archer! Well, wide it goes to Archer into the penalty area. Beats the first man, then shoots. Short ball back, it comes to Vinny Souza. Swirling cross, looking for McBurnie who rose. Souza swings his leg at it, doesn't make clean contact and then Gallagher wins it back. Good scrapping, Gallagher! Well, here Mudrick comes again, evading the attentions of Bogle. Mudrick, here's Cameron Archer, inching in from the left-hand side, takes aim! Goodness me! The corner is taken short into the feet of McAtee, who got a great goal against Brentford last weekend. In it goes from Harmer into the feet of Ahmed Hodzic. Vinny Souza's taken a whack to the face from Caicedo. The blade should have a free kick. Chelsea have the ball, Jackson will bend one. James McAtee has the ball, shifting it onto his left boot. In goes the cross, but ultimately that is the last action of an intense first half. Here's Raheem Sterling to Cole Palmer, jinxing on his left boot. Slalom has passed Andre Brooks, then he shoots, took a deflection. Things open up for Palmer, disguised ball to Sterling on the edge of the box. He will turn, take on Andre Brooks, get to the dead ball line. In goes the cross and Chelsea have taken the lead here at Stamford Bridge. They lead by a goal to nil. It's a powerful finish from close range by Cole Palmer. To Palmer, jinx on his left boot, then he curls it, looking for Raheem Sterling. Sterling with a cushion header and then the block on the line from Fodringham and it's squeezed across the face of goal. And in the end, the ball has been pushed in on the far side by Nicholas Jackson and the goal stands. Nicholas Jackson who toe-poked the ball into an empty net and Chelsea extend their lead to 2-0. Palmer produced a set-piece special. Palmer steps up right-footed, in it goes and it's parried away. Now defending this set-piece as Palmer dinks it over the wall and it's parried away. Ben Slimani up to the edge of the penalty area, shielding off all comers in blue. Ben Slimani gets to the byline, in goes the cross. Now Caicedo 1-2 saying shoot into Gallagher. Gallagher hooks one, hits it over the top. Cameron Archer wasn't initially looking, that allows Silva to head it clear and now Cameron Archer comes again forcing Silva back.
