Hey guys, welcome to my YouTube channel.
We are getting closer to holiday season, so I decided to share 8 outfits for Christmas
and New Year's parties.
But all these outfits are not necessarily only for Christmas and New Year's.
They can be worn during the year whenever you want to go to a party.
For the first outfit, I went with this head to toe neutral outfit.
I have been looking for a satin skirt for a very long time.
I found this one in Dynamite last week.
I think it looks really expensive and it suits my body so well.
I can pair it with dark colors and also some light colors.
It's so easy to style it.
And for the top, I went with this new blouse that I got from H&M also last week.
I love this blouse especially because of the shoulder pads.
I think it looks really expensive and it looks high-end.
I will link both of these items in the description for you.
I think they are still in stock.
I'm not sure when I'm going to upload this video, but they are both new items.
Second outfit is this champagne color blouse that I also got from H&M recently.
I love the color of this blouse so much.
It's shiny.
It's very appropriate for Christmas.
And I paired it with black mini skirt, which I think makes the blouse shine even more because
I paired it with dark color.
I love the draping neckline.
It really looks high-end.
It actually looks like a designer brand blouse and I only paid $35 Canadian for it.
I will also link this one in the description.
I highly recommend you to buy one, especially this color.
It comes in red, gray, and also a pattern color, which is black and white.
They're all so beautiful.
I would say it's true to size, but if you are between sizes, I would suggest you to
size up.
Next, I went with a long black blazer.
I got this many years ago and I actually wore it many times for different occasions.
I specifically chose this outfit for work Christmas parties because it looks a bit conservative,
but if you want to spice it up, you can wear it with correct accessories like how I styled
it in the cutaway.
I paired it with gold clutch and shoes.
I personally think gold and black look really nice together and especially because the buttons
of the blazer are also gold, so I think the whole outfit looks really coordinated when
I paired it with gold accessories.
It's a very simple outfit that can work for many occasions, especially for Christmas parties
that you want to dress a little more conservative, let's say for your work or if you want to
meet your in-laws.
I highly recommend you to invest in a good long black blazer because you can wear it
for different occasions and it would stay in your closet for a very long time.
Next, I'm wearing this black satin skirt with this white crop top.
I got the skirt from Oak and Forth.
I love the fit and I also love the slit.
I think it is exactly where it should be and I paired it with this blouse from Zara.
I really like this blouse, especially the slits.
It looks really polished and elegant.
For shoes, I went with pointy toe shoes, which always looks elegant to me.
What you could do in this outfit, you can also wear it with tights.
It's still very appropriate and chic, especially it's Christmas and New Year's are in winter,
so it might get a little cooler, so wearing tights would make it more climate appropriate.
For the next look, I went with leather leggings paired with a white blazer.
What I did is, I put my belt on top of my blazer to make my waist look narrower and
slimmer.
I personally love this look so much, especially this white blazer.
I got this many years ago from Zara and I wore it for many occasions.
This outfit that I'm showing you, it can work for even a dinner date during the year, no
matter what occasion.
I think it's very versatile, it's not just for Christmas, but it would also look really
nice for a Christmas party or even New Year's.
I really like to wear white around this time, I think it looks really chic because a lot
of people are wearing glitter and sequin around this time, so if you wear white, you would
really stand out.
As I said particularly, this blazer looks more expensive than what I actually paid for it.
What I love about it is, the buttons are also the same color as the blazer, which makes
it easier to style it.
So when you go shopping, always pay attention to those details because those details would
help you later to style your pieces easily and make them more versatile.
It is not Christmas if you're not wearing sequins and sparkly outfits.
I'm a minimal girl and I usually try to avoid sparkles or anything that's so shiny, but
around this time, I try to inject a few pieces in my outfit that looks sparkly, shiny, glittery,
because we want to have fun around this time.
So what I did for this outfit is, I wore this sequin crop top with black pants and black
blazer.
I think the whole outfit looks really nice and it's not too shiny and over the top.
It still looks simple and elegant, but at the same time, it has this Christmas vibe
to it.
It's a great option when you want to look a bit more fun around this time, let's say
going out with your girlfriends, and this is a really good outfit.
For the next outfit, I went with this booklet jacket and I paired it with wide leg pants.
I have been obsessed with this jacket since I bought it.
I think it looks really nice.
It pairs well with black wide leg pants as it is cropped.
I realized that during Christmas, we are mostly sitting down, so what we're wearing on top
is actually more important than what we wear at the bottom.
This jacket would really stand out even when you are sitting and because of the fabric,
it's a bit thicker and could also keep you warm, which I think is very appropriate around
this time as Christmas and New Year's are in winter.
Overall, this is a great outfit when you don't want to be like so over the top and just want
to keep it a bit casual, but at the same time, you want to look good together.
Last outfit, I paired my black mini dress with a black blazer and gold accessories.
This is something that we all have in our wardrobe, at least one or two.
A black dress is so simple and you can wear it the whole year, not just around this time
and you can either pop a blazer over your shoulders or wear your blazer or maybe wear
a belt on top of it.
I think it looks really simple and also, I paired it with gold accessories.
As I said during this video, gold and black always look really nice together.
That was it, guys.
