Good morning guys, I just finished prepping this avocado chickpea salad over here with
some feta on top. It's one of our blog favorites and it's really quick to make,
takes me about five minutes. Super high in protein by the way, it's like 20 grams in one serving
and really nice to take for work as well because, well, it's so easy to make and it's not as filling
as a pasta or potato dish. So to know how to make it just stick with the video. Okay, I just drained
and rinsed a 15 ounce can of chickpeas. So that's a small can, right? In it goes. Next we're gonna
add a big avocado, diced. Give me a second. Always a big moment and definitely fun to share with you
how does it look from the inside. Drum roll. Good enough, I'd say. Good enough. Let's cut the square
pattern in here. I'm very sure you've seen this before, so that's no news anymore. Okay, let's
scoop in the avocado. That's the next part. In it goes. Well, I have to correct myself, this is a very
beautiful avocado. Now we add a handful of either parsley or cilantro. Gonna chop this up quickly.
Good, here we go. Cut it out a little more, of course. Next we have half a red onion, chopped.
Next we add about three ounces of feta cheese. It's roughly 80 to 90 grams. Well, you see this
much here. I just crumble it in. Cool, this is the base. Now it's seasoning time. We are going to add
one lime, roughly. Can be a little less, so let's squeeze in a little bit from both sides.
Should be enough, but you can see later if you need a bit more. Otherwise you can use
the rest of it for a lime water. This is definitely a nice addition, one teaspoon of honey.
And lastly, season with some salt and some pepper. All right, so for the beauty of it, I'm not going
to stir this already, but that's it. The avocado chickpea salad done. Really awesome for barbecue,
obviously, but also nice as a side for dinner and I like this also for lunch. You just should make
half of it because it's really enough. Then like this, put it in the container and it'll definitely
bring you through lunchtime at work. All right, let me know in the comments how it turns out for
you. I'm really curious and then, well, see you in the next video. Bye!
