How to Unlock Google Pixel 8 Pro

welcome man to the video I'm your tech guide Wayne today I want to walk you through how to unlock your Google pixel 8 Pro so you can use it with any carrier the first thing you need to do is simply go to your phone app and you're going to go to the uh dialer in the left uh excuse me bottom right corner and we're going to punch in Star pound 06 and pound that's going to show us our IMI information you'll need to write down the first number you see right under where it says IMI 1 we're going to need that for the next step of the video next we're going to go to the Google Chrome app to the website the unlocking company.com and we're just going to fill out a few prompts starting with the manufacturer which is going to be Google pixel the model is going to be the 8 Pro and then we're going to tap the unlock phone button now here it's going to ask you to fill out a few more questions here so the country you purchase the phone in the carrier which is going to be AT&T and it's going to then give us a price so this phone will cost $27.99 to unlock um it'll take about 3 days uh 1 to 3 days for them to get back to you and the way the reason it takes so long is um basically every carrier every model um the process to unlock the phones is slightly different and it does change over time so they pull the latest unlocking instructions and they email them to you so you can get your phone fully unlocked and ready to go to use it with another carrier now one disclaimer um this service will not work for you if you owe a balance on your phone or if your phone is stolen so please keep that in mind um those are things that could deter you from U getting your phone unlocked so if you're in that boat um just know if you have a balance you have to pay it off first and if it's stolen and the phone is blacklisted I don't believe this will help you so just keep that in mind now the last step is you need to enter the IMI that we got in the first step of the video you're going to hit add the cart and check out and um it's going to take again one to three uh days for them to get back to you with those final unlocking instructions now I just want to show you one more thing at the top of the screen uh one of the reasons why I love this website is you have multiple ways to contact the company to follow up uh in the event that you've been waiting for quite a while and you just need an update or you're having an issue with the unlock you have multiple ways to contact the company so a number you can call a number you can text an email and a WhatApp number so um the company tries to make theel available to make sure that uh whatever you need they're there for you and ultimately the goal is to help get you your phone unlocked so uh once the unlock is successful you'll then need to prepare your phone to use it with that new service now if you're using a physical SIM card uh all you need to do is get a SIM card for the new service you want to use with the phone if you're using an eim you'll need to go to that new carrier and look up their uh instructions for how to link uh your new service with the eim so you've got a few options available hope you guys found this helpful if it was hit that like button down below if you're not already a subscriber hit that subscribe button and stay tuned for more videos take care and as always have a good one
