🤗 My first graders talk about kindness and compassion (full video)

My first-grade students talk about kindness and compassion after completing a project on helping others. I'm so proud of them!

This project has lasted through the seasons. In winter, the children gave gift packages to homeless people. At the end of winter, they sowed their seeds. In spring, they prepared the garden, planted, made compost, painted rainwater barrels, watered the plants and harvested the fruits of their labor to donate to the food pantry. Many thanks to Pastor Andrew, who lent us his garden and offered us his advice.

The Lycée Français de la Nouvelle Orléans, based in Nola, is the only American public school to offer total immersion in French.
