Hello, how are you? Welcome once again to another video. I am Jessica Alba, I am very happy that you are here.
And if you are watching this video, it is because very surely you have ever had this terrible situation
where you used your semi-permanent enamel, you put your lamp to cure normally,
and after it came out of your lamp, it came out as a little wrinkled, as inflated, as kind of weird.
And your application started to come off as if it were a chalcomancy.
I will be helping you so that this does not happen to you, as well as I will also explain to you why this situation happens.
The answer is very simple, but we must always be very careful with the applications we make and the amount we use.
So, if you like this video and it is helpful, please give me your thumbs up, it is completely free and you will help me a lot.
As well as I also invite you to subscribe to my channel, it is also free.
So, now we are going to start.
Very well, here we have our sample, let's imagine that it is a nail, and here I have my semi-permanent enamel.
This semi-permanent enamel is normal, it cures in a lamp of 30 seconds, depending on the power of the lamp.
This situation that the enamel is inflated, wrinkled, lifted or detached, is only because you are placing excess product.
Always in each video and in each occasion that I can, I tell you, always apply thin layers.
That will help you a lot so that this situation does not happen to you.
And it can also happen that it does not necessarily wrinkle or inflate, but if you put excess product on each layer,
it does not matter that you have had an incredible and perfect nail preparation, still believe me that the product will come off.
You always have to remember that the adhesion is not only given by the primer and the nail preparation.
It does influence a lot, it is a great amount of contribution that it will give you on the durability of your set, but it is not everything.
So, what we often do is grab the brush with a lot of product and start applying it.
Maybe because you want to finish very quickly, maybe because you see that your enamel is a little watery and it gives you laziness to give it 1, 2, 3 or 4 layers.
You say, well, maybe with one I leave it a little more loaded and so I don't have to be giving it 2, 3, 4 passes.
We want to use a lot of product that even drips off the brush and start applying it.
Because, let me tell you, so fresh, without healing, the application looks good, but the good thing is that you put it in the lamp.
So, I'm going to cure for 30 seconds in the lamp.
Very well, here I already have the enamel just out of the lamp.
This matter that it starts to inflate takes a couple of minutes, but that does not take away from the fact that it is very saturated with product.
And right now I'm going to show you how to know it before it starts to inflate.
First, we can notice it by the reflection that it gives us.
You can see that it doesn't even make a straight line, you know?
That is, it makes a curve.
This is perceptible.
Look, how it looks even crooked.
Look, more inflated from down here is because it has more product.
Since most of it was draining at the time of placing it in the lamp.
And I want you to see this effect as a cushion, which is where a couple of minutes, if we wait, it will start to inflate.
I want you to pay close attention to how it will look.
Look, can you see this part, this as an effect, as inflated?
This means that our product did not dry well.
And look, it even stays here as marked where I am doing pressure.
And here a lot more.
Look, here it is more inflated.
Right now I'm going to cut it, I'm going to open it so you can see that in this part it didn't dry well, okay?
This is the problem of applying a lot of product because the lamp will not be able to dry everything.
It will only dry the surface part, but since there is a lot of product,
the one that is here in the middle between the base and the part up to the top, that one cannot dry it.
Situation that you would not have to go through if you had applied a very thin layer of semi-permanent enamel.
Look, here is another part, the same with this effect as inflated.
But look, I'm going to show you how you notice this effect as plastic, as padded.
Look, look.
And how easy it comes off the sample.
But I want you to see how it did not dry.
You can see how it is still fresh in there.
And that because I feel that I also put very little product on it.
Look, look, look, look.
But look, in this part is where it was also very inflated.
I'm going to make a hole.
If you can see how it is badly dried.
It was like a bag and apart it will be super easy to remove it.
With this ease it will fall off your nail, okay?
It is as I tell you, it does not matter that you have made a magnificent natural nail preparation.
If you apply a lot, it will fall off.
Very well, now I will be showing you the correct way in which you should apply the semi-permanent enamel.
We will always take our brush.
This also depending on how big the nail or sample you are going to use is.
Okay?
But we do not have to be doing like this as it comes out.
Like look, the drop has already fallen.
Then we drain excess and begin to apply, okay?
It does not really matter, trust the process.
It does not matter that you apply a layer and it looks half transparent, okay?
Because once again, remember, you have to apply several layers, okay?
Minimum, minimum are two layers.
But this will also depend on the pigmentation of your enamel.
So, if you apply thin layers, believe me that you will not have to suffer that your enamel was inflated, wrinkled or fell.
So, a thin layer and we put to cure 30 seconds in the lamp.
Very well, since you have come out completely dry from the lamp, I want to show you the difference compared to the other work.
In the first layer, look, I mean, I try to chop it and nothing happens because the thin layer is not making this effect as inflated, as padded, okay?
Look, it does not even leave marks and it is not noticeable.
Unlike the opposite that looked like this action as padded, as inflated.
If you want your enamel to be well pigmented, they are thin layers but give several.
Give two, give three, okay?
So, we reapply another layer just as thin on our enamel.
And that's it, it is much more pigmented.
Now we can put to cure once again for 30 seconds.
And that's it, since you have come out completely dry from the lamp, we can protect with our top coat.
And now we can finish to cure for the last time in the lamp for 30 seconds.
And well, here we have the final result.
I did not clean my finger so that you can see all the disaster that this application did.
And remember that always, always, please, apply thin layers, okay?
So that these situations do not happen to you, so that it does not inflate.
Look, right now it starts to want to inflate.
Do you notice that little skin?
And it can get worse, okay?
So, for these situations you should not apply a lot of product.
Always, always, very thin layers.
It does not matter if you have to give two, three or four depending on the pigmentation of the enamel.
But it is the best, because you are going to avoid that it inflates, that it falls, that you stain everything like me right now.
And that it also does not come off.
Because look, I try to do the same thing I did there and I can not lift it.
Let's remember that in the other, I just did it like that and pop, it was removed, okay?
So, always apply thin layers.
