(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Dortmund - M'gladbach

As I say, there have been some big scores here in recent years in Dortmund's favour. Alassane Pleyer, lovely pass, on here to Rocco Reitz. Rocco Reitz, who is living the dream for Gladbach. His second goal in as many matches. A young man who has not just taken his chance, but seized it with both hands for the foals. And he scores the opening goal today at a place they've not won for nearly ten years. So a corner for the foals. Onorat's corner. There is right to the near post to meet it, back out to Franck Onorat. Another cross. Here's Manu Kone. Kone's steal. Manu Kone! With an absolute scorcher to make it 2-0. Incredible stuff from Gladbach. And Manu Kone, his last goal came against Dortmund over a year ago in the Bundesliga. And that was unstoppable. Absolutely brilliant from Manu Kone. 20km an hour. Here's Alassane Pleyer. Rocco Reitz away from danger, but given away here to Reitz again. Manu Kone again. Reitz steps in here to try to drive Dortmund on and get them back into the game. On to Brandt. It's a horror show so far by the Schwarzgelb. Brandt with Werber. Brandt's cross too high. And they do have one back. Marcel Zarbitza to halve the arrears. It's a 2-1 lead now for Gladbach. And that is something now for Dortmund to just give them a shot in the arm. Yeah, it's exactly what they needed. Julian Brandt down this right-hand side was exceptional. There was a moment there when you thought a lot for Gladbach. They started the game so, so well. I think they managed the game really well. Obviously there's that slight blip now that Dortmund are back on the score sheet. But you would think that playing away from home, they're always going to be a threat. Fulchrug's in here. It's 2-2. What a first half. And Niklas Fulchrug on a day where it's simply raining goals at Dignano Duna Park. And from 2-0 down, Dortmund have come roaring, racing back to level the match. Incredible. It's the response that the Dortmund fans desperately wanted. The end of this half has certainly been with Dortmund. Their response from being 2-0 down has been exceptional. And it has lifted this stadium hugely. And you can see the players have a new sense of self-belief and confidence. Gettens for Zabitze. Manu Kornay in a muddle. Here's Niklas Fulchrug. Beine Gettens! What a comeback in this first half. They were 2-0 down. Now, in the 45th minute, they lead by three goals to two. That is character. Absolute brilliance from Dortmund. There's not enough room to get up and over. I certainly don't think it is. It'll be Marco Reus! Off the crossbar. There's Fulchrug. And Gladbach survive. Here comes the kitchen sink. Everything in there now for the Foals. Even the goalkeeper Niklas has joined the attacking party. The corner taken by Robin Hack. It flicks away. There's Netsnad a breakaway. There's no goalkeeper here. It's Daniel Marlen on his own to end his 70-day goalless streak. He will never score a goal more easy than that. The clincher from Daniel Marlen in stoppage time. Runs through unchallenged to make it 4-2 for Dortmund. And Dortmund are winners here against Cejuanes Gladbach in a thrilling game. First up especially by four goals to two.
