(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Frankfurt - Stuttgart
They started the season quite slowly because they lost a lot of key players.
Randall Colomawane probably being the biggest name that they've lost and it's taken them a while to
find a bit of a goal scoring feel but they've had a very good defense that's very, very,
very hard to beat unless you're really quick and Denis Undarv in for Cyril Guirassi
in under a minute it seems has put Stuttgart in front. Well yes Phil that is really surprising
to me this strong defensive solid performances that Frankfurt showed here it might have something
to do because they put a back four today but Stuttgart they just exposed at the right timing
they Frankfurt didn't seem to be right in the game but Stuttgart from the off
smells the situation gets behind the defender gets the ball and and pass
Kevin Trupp it's one nil and that's just in eight games in one minute yeah I just wanted
to mention this because Guirassi he was so good at the start of the season overcooked that that
won't count if it goes in fairly sure that ball went over the line that was a huge overhaul
within the squad a fantastic safe here from Nübel I think we will speak about Nübel later on
again Frankfurt I think they are since 15 games at home unbeaten only in the league if I'm right
and they only lost to Napoli in the Champions League max oh it's an own goal it's a tremendous
his 175th Bundesliga game today he's not going to want to remember it for that reason horrible for
keepers aren't they yeah absolutely this time Nübel he tried to play it towards I think it
was still up but he didn't react really towards that ball came straight away back played it out
oh this is interesting too now
leveling Führer hops to do the right thing free header Undov goal two was he offside yes he was
it won't count Undov waving his finger and saying no no no you got it wrong it's a goal
no discussion about that he's listened to Gunter Perl in his ear Liebling gets the ball chips it
on the second post we've seen that a few times today where Führer is waiting takes the ball
down towards Mittelstadt straight back in where Undov is waiting for the delivery
great cross here from Mittelstadt this was just three of the minutes Mio great ball for Mio
that's just what Geraci needs oh it's wide Geraci gives the thumbs up yeah and I think a few weeks
back I think he would have scored that one he full of confidence this time he just missed it
Anton good work from the captain still up now Geraci he'll look up and see where the others are
oh what a block that was ah there we go this is this is the chance again Phil I wanted to
mention something because we couldn't see it it was again a superb situation that's
the game over that's it Stuttgart win away big points for them they're still in thirds
it's finished Eintracht Frankfurt one Stuttgart two
