(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights Tottenham Hotspur - Aston Villa
He moves forward, crossing chance again into a far post it goes and again Luca Dean didn't know
what was behind him, took no chances and heads it out for another Spurs corner. Comes to the near
post, goes through everybody, comes up to Lo Celso, shoots and fires it into the roof of the net
and Spurs have the lead with Giovanni Lo Celso. Towards the right-hand side for Cash, to Diaby
for Kamara, into Douglas Luiz, and one touch football from Aston Villa. We've got Luca Dean
free on the left-hand side, Diaby and Watkins waiting, in he comes to Watkins, oh what an
equaliser! He looks at the flag, it stays down, an instant response from Aston Villa,
lovely play through the midfield, wonderful delivery, VAR might have a look at this.
Looks like it is going to be an offside decision and the goal will be scratched out.
Moves wide towards the left-hand side for Hill, closed down by Cromsie, going backwards,
might get intercepted, Watkins chasing, Lucario just gets there first. Spurs in the last couple
of moments just looking a little bit fragile at the back, just Luiz standing over it. Fires it
into the penalty box and there's a good run in there from Torres! Oh and it's 1-1, right on the
break of half-time, Torres with his second goal for Aston Villa this season, lovely delivery in
from Douglas Luiz and Torres met it full-on with power beyond Lucario to make it 1-1
on the stroke of half-time. Spurs 1-1, Aston Villa 1-1, Pau Torres. Kamara, Watkins turns it around
the corner for Thielemans, gets it back again, Oli Watkins first time, oh what a goal! What a
wonderful finish that was from Oli Watkins, he won't be denied this time. Watkins gives Aston
Villa the lead just after the hour mark, it was such quick footwork from the Villa striker,
he took a touch, slots it home and Villa lead by two goals to one, Oli Watkins.
