Dolly Parton performed her first halftime show on Thanksgiving and boy did she score big. The 77-year-old icon performed alongside Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders and looked amazing in their iconic short shorts. Now some past and present squad members including one who is on stage with Dolly are speaking with our Amber Cogliano. Fans are still in awe over Dolly Parton's age-defying halftime show on Thanksgiving Day. The 77-year-old legend stunned viewers as she performed alongside the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and Dolly fit right in sporting a custom version of the trademark Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders uniform. The headlines say it all, one even proclaiming Dolly Parton won Thanksgiving. All of our jaws dropped on the side because we're thinking Dolly Parton wants to dress like us. Cheerleader Mackenzie hit the field with Dolly. What was she like? Her kindness is just contagious. She's so genuine. She was joking around a little bit, definitely showing her personality but when we got to the rehearsal space it was like this is what I have to get done, this is how many times we're gonna do it, this is where I'm standing and it made our job a lot easier. And past Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders were also watching. Cindy Bennett and Shana Shepard were members of the squad in the 70s and 80s. To see her in that outfit just gave me chills. She looked dynamite in it. I'm 70 and I'm like wow she's 77. I just was shocked that she was wearing the uniform and that she wore it so well at her age. Dolly's amazing.
