Perennial, Deciduous & Evergreen Plants … It’s Time For Your Nap 💤

I’m so ready for a rest from gardening for the winter, so today I’m having a very good tidy up, cutting back all my perennials down to the ground, taking out any spent annuals and emptying out two fountains and giving them a good clean.

I do enjoy doing this, and don’t mind at all that now the garden looks more bare. I believe there’s a season for everything in the garden, and now it’s the season for it all to slow down and go to sleep … before we start all over again in just a few months time!!
