What ALL Visa Officers hate that applicants do

You need the applicant to help you so that you can put something in the case notes to justify why you issued to this applicant and when they give you a one-word answer that is something that was already on the DS-160 or that you can see on the I-20 it just it doesn't help you at all help them get the VISA and it I would sometimes just walk away from the window after they gave me a one-word answer and just kind of go cool off with a colleague like well why don't they know and the thing is that they don't and they hear these these myths that oh yeah you have to be really short now the flip side of that is if you go on for four or five minutes about your entire life story then I'll get frustrated too but the one-word answers were just just the worst yeah it's really just rolling the dice because some people will get approved some won't but if you're one-word answers you're just leaving it to chance
