IBIZA VLOG: relaxing & no clubbing

What is up you guys? Welcome back to my channel. Maggie and I just made it to Ibiza. We're so happy to be here, but oh my god, do we have a story time from our travel getting here this morning. I feel like I'm progressively getting worse. No. Okay, so this morning I'm gonna keep this like, I'm gonna do Cole's Notes version if I can, but basically... Should I get my wall camera so we don't do this twice? Yeah. Okay, so if you can tell, we're looking pretty rough. It was a rough morning. We, last night, were like, let's go to bed early. We decided to have, by the way, we were just in Paris before this, so if you watched the Paris vlog, you already know, and we just landed in Ibiza straight from Paris. Last night, Maggie and I drank some wine by the river in Paris, and it was lovely, and then we decided to get another bottle of wine, and then we got home and decided to get another bottle of wine and... And cigarette. Well, we already had the cigarettes, actually. And, uh, I was blasting Fisher at 3 a.m. All of a sudden, we were having like a dance party, being like, we're going to Ibiza. Sure enough, Maggie's alarm goes off at 7 30 this morning. We both wake up and we're like, do you feel like ----? Yeah, do you feel like ----? And when I say, like, there's nothing worse than being hungover but also sleep-deprived. Like, hungover, sleep-deprived, not working. Also, we realized we were not on the same flight here, um, and we weren't even departing from the same airport in France. We were departing from the two opposite airports, which are on opposite sides of the city. That was my fault. And Maggie had a connecting flight. Uh, her bag did not make it. My dad didn't mind. That's a story for further on, I guess. Well, can we just talk about what we had to do this morning? Yeah. Oh, yeah, the stairs. So, first of all, you have to watch the Paris vlog to understand the absolute pain and suffering that we had to endure. The stairs. The stairs in our Airbnb. Six floors. Six ******* flights of stairs. And, like, they were narrow and they went up, they went up like this. So, first of all, just imagine trying to bring 50 pound bags up the stairs but then bringing them down. It was worse. Hungover. It was worse. No, I think we were still drunk. Right. Oh, I was for sure, I was for sure still drunk because I actually don't think I would have been able to bring them down if I was feeling like how I felt after. Both of our wrists are, like, broken. No, I think my wrist is literally broken. So, I had to do that this morning. So, I went up. I, well, both of us went up and down twice but I had to go up a third time because my phone wasn't working. I needed wi-fi to call an Uber. So, I had to go all the way back up the six flights of stairs. Her flight was an hour earlier than mine. An hour earlier. I'm knocking on the door for Izzy to let me back into the apartment. Scares the ---- out of me. I thought she was gone. I'm like, oh my god, I need wi-fi. Like, I need to call an Uber. Call an Uber, it takes 20 ******* minutes. But nobody would answer for the longest time. So, no one would accept the ride. And mine either. It was like an actual problem. We were freaking the **** out. I was like, oh my god, can we call a taxi? Like, why isn't this working? I'm literally at this point, I'm like, I think I'm gonna miss my ******* flight. Yeah, hers was tight. Like, I got to the, eventually, Uber's accepted for both of us. But mine, like, she got one and she had to pay for, like, the most expensive one. So, I was like, oh crap. And I tried, like, three different Euros. Yeah, I tried three different Uber options and I had to pay for the most expensive one, too. And even that took, like, 20 minutes to connect. But I was, like, asking the lady in the building if she had a phone so I could call a taxi because my eSIM doesn't work. Anyways, it was a disaster. Um, but we both made it to our flights on time. We got just very hungover, feeling like ----, four hours of sleep. And then Maggie's bag didn't make it. But at least she did. So, we're here. I made it, and that's all that matters. And my Ibiza outfits made it, which is all that matters. We'll stuff with them. Not her makeup, though. Not my makeup. Or, like, body wash, shampoo, face wash, whatever. But on the plus side, we just checked into our hotel and it's absolutely stunning. So. You girls got upgraded! Yeah, we did. Um, and look, I think we should do a little room tour. A little room tour? Let's do it. Okay. Alright, starting off with our pretty little balcony area. Walk in. We haven't even unpacked a thing yet. This is our living room. We have, like, a little seating area there. Look at this. Look how big this place is. It's way too big for two people. Bathroom number one. Bedroom number one. Bathroom number two. Bedroom number two. So wild. So cute. Love how it's decorated. It's called Petunia Ibiza. Yeah, we got beach bags! Yeah, there's another cute mirror over there, too. So earlier today, Maggie was like, Maggie was like, I'm never drinking again. Like, I'm not gonna drink tonight. There's no way. Like, we're definitely not drinking. And I was like, yeah, maybe a drink with dinner. We'll see. And then I just saw this little card that says, like, welcome. We're pleased to offer you a local white wine you'll find in your minibar. We hope you enjoy it. And I just give Maggie a look. I'm like, should we have a glass of wine? And she looks at me and she's like, no. And then I just look at her like... And she goes, okay. Okay, fine. Open it up. We're the worst. Ibiza. All right, we kind of semi-unpacked, immediately changed into swimwear and these, like, super cozy waffle robes. And now we're gonna go sit by the pool and probably get a bite to eat. We can probably order food at the pool. Oh, true. I bet you we can. First meal of the day. The only thing I could eat on the menu was fries. Slacked on that. We've literally been just laying here for, like, the last hour and a half and it's been so nice. I think we decided we're not gonna shoot tonight. We're just gonna hang out and chill and go for dinner at the resort here. But we might just go for a little walk right now and explore and get a little lay of the land while the sun sets and then just be back here tonight for dinner and just have a very chill night. I have some work I have to do on my computer after dinner and we need to go to bed early tonight because last night was not enough sleep. I'm still not okay. A couple of gorillas in their robes. This is actually what we're wearing to dinner too, in case you're wondering. This is our POV right now. It's so pretty. It's such a different change of pace from Paris. Like, I feel like I'm experiencing, like, full-body shock and, yeah, calm at the same time. It's so quiet here. I love it. We found the beach. Oh, stairs. Traumatizing. Oh, look at the color of the water. So pretty. Hair of the dog. And I broke the cork, so Maggie's trying to do surgery. The view right now. It's pretty good. Pretty good. Okay, these are our outfits for the night. We are not wearing any makeup. We are fresh-faced. I put on earrings disguised from the mic. No makeup, no makeup. No makeup. I put on lip gloss, if that counts, and we just, like, threw on these outfits, but I actually feel like we look pretty good. No, I love it. I actually really like this dress, and I really like yours too. I love dresses with this neckline. I feel like they're just so flattering. Yeah, that is really cute. I'm drooling a little bit. Anyways, we're just going for dinner at our hotel. We have a little reservation that we're now 10 minutes late for, so we're gonna go do that and then come back and do some work, and for the love of God, we're gonna go to bed early. For the love of God, we're going to get a solid eight hours of sleep tonight. Ten. Ten. I need ten. I doubt that. I need ten to balance out last night's four. Okay, we just sat down for dinner. We had to put on blazers because it's actually, like, a little bit chilly, surprisingly, so first time I've worn my blazer. I got some olives and some bread, and I just ordered a kiwi margarita, even though we're not drinking tonight. I don't know. He's making tiramisu for us. Wow. My favorite part. Beautiful. Oh my god, Chris would be in heaven right now. He loves tiramisu. That looks so good. And I got a whole pineapple. Oh, I'm so excited. This cat, they call Voldemort because he doesn't have a nose. He's a kook. Okay, we had dessert, which was amazing, and now we are having a mochello on the house. I'm excited to watch Maggie's face. You can just sip it. Good morning, you guys. We slept, like, clean last night. We slept, like, nine hours. I think we got closer to ten because she fell asleep while we were working. We're just having breakfast on our beautiful balcony view restaurant at our resort and just soaking up every single second. I'm getting my first cortado since last year. No, well, not since last year. Oh, bugs. Since my honeymoon. My other honeymoon besides this one. Cortado. So good. There she is, she's beauty, she's grace. Okay, for context, we decided to get a taxi to a different beach today. That was us in the Uber. My palms are legit sweating. I can't remember the last time I was that scared in a moving vehicle. We were, like, in the mountains, and there's all these cliffs, and he was going so fast, and he was listening to, like, heavy metal music. Like, I'm actually shaking. The craziest taxi ride of my life. I kept looking over at Maggie's face to be, like, are you feeling as stressed out as I am right now? At first, when he was playing, like, rock, I was, like, jamming out. He started with Elvis, and it was very gentle, and then he changed to heavy metal, and it was like... Okay, we found our little spot for the day. We hiked up on top of this rock platform thing just to get away from people and also to get this view. It's so pretty. We've just been having the chillest afternoon, enjoying the sun. It just got so hot out. Like, I'm guessing it's probably, like, 28, 29 degrees, which is, like, mid-80s. It's so, so nice. Look at the color of the water. Like, let me just show you. This was our rock. We were sitting, like, right up there all day, and it was so nice. Okay, we're back from our beach day. We just kind of started getting ready. We were hoping Maggie's bag would be here by now, but it's still not, but it looks like it's landed on Ibiza, so we should have it back hopefully pretty soon. So, she's using all my makeup today, so we're, like, I'm, like, doing mine and then passing it to assembly line. Like, I've been doing this contour stick and just tapping it in with my fingers. Oh, you can use the brush if you want. It's right there. Which one? This one. Yeah. You definitely went tan today. I'm pumped about it. Yeah. All right, here's the fit tonight. Had to do one sparkly thing while in Ibiza, so this is, this is it. It's all sequins. It's a little bit see-through, so I had to wear nipple covers and the lightest color underwear that I have underneath, but she's kind of cute. Okay, so I did a complete outfit change. I'm wearing this little mini dress today now that I'm actually shooting for a campaign. I just feel a little bit more confident in it, so I'm gonna wear it instead. Brought my blazer because it gets chillier at night, and we're on our way to find a dinner spot. Oh, it's so pretty. Okay, we're in, like, a different area for dinner tonight. It's, like, a 30-minute drive from where we're staying. It's called, I think it's something Antonio. I can pull up my map here. San Antonio de Portmany. There's a port here, hence the name, but it's so pretty. I found this restaurant on TikTok, and it said that it had really nice sunsets, so we decided to come here, and also the food apparently is really good, and the drinks too, and it looks really good, and it's so pretty. All right, we found our shooting spot. Sun just went down. We just finished taking pics in our little fluffy numbers. We took off our shoes because it was, like, this is literally a cliff, so it was not safe, but it was such a pretty sunset. This area is so nice. Look at the sunset. All right, we're at this place called Golden Buddha for dinner that was recommended on TikTok. Maggie just got an espresso martini, and I got this spicy hashish root margarita. Maybe I just made up the spicy part. It's good. That's a good one. Yeah. Whoa, good. Yeah, really good. Holy. The rim is so good. Oh my god. Yeah. All right, our appies are here. We got traditional patatas bravas, Spanish delicacy, and these grilled artichoke hearts. We're both, like, big fans of artichoke hearts, and this is our first, like, real meal of the day. We had breakfast, but it was so small, and we're starving. A red curry, spicy prawn red curry. Yeah, poke bowl. Okay, dinner was really, really good. Delish. It was kind of a nice change of, like, cuisine. Yeah. Did you find? Yeah. A nice little Thai food in the middle of the week. I mean, the appies were Spanish, but yeah. Anyways, even though we're stuffed, we saw this gelato place on the way to dinner and decided that we need gelato. Is it our first one in Europe? Yeah, I haven't had gelato. Like, we had Haagen-Dazs in Paris, but, like, we haven't had actual gelato, so excited. Well, joke's on us. The ice cream place is closed, which is really sad, but honestly, I'm so full. So did I. Maybe let's just walk up one of these streets and see. Should I just look up more ice cream? Yeah, and maybe a convenience store so we can get some wine. And be honest, what else do you want? What else do both of us want? A cigarette. If you're new here and you didn't watch the Paris vlog, I had my first cigarette ever in my entire life at the ripe age of 30. Now, after a couple drinks since we've been in Europe, it's definitely just going to be a European thing, but, like, we've been enjoying, like, a little glass of wine and a cig because it's the European and us is just coming out. It is. But we're going to quit this habit before we go home. Trust me, don't worry. Don't worry. Don't worry, mom. Okay, so no ice cream places nearby and no supermarkets. We walked all the way around, couldn't find an open supermarket, so I was just like, let's go into a store and just buy a bottle of wine. Or, I mean, a bar. I was like, why don't you just go ask and I'll get the taxi. How much is it? $16. All right, we just got home. I immediately changed into my sweatsuit. We're going to go sit out on the rooftop patio at our resort and have a glass of wine. Didn't find any cigs, probably a good thing for us. I think it's going to be an early night. It's only like 10 p.m., which is really nice. And guess who got her luggage? Where is it? There it is! The long lost pink luggage. Is everything in it? Yeah. Oh, stunning. It doesn't even look like it was open. It's like perfectly packed still. Amazing! We love our resort so much. I think I mentioned it's called Petunia and it's just like so pretty and peaceful and stunning. Absolutely stunning and the staff are so amazing. One thing I will say about Ibiza in general though is things are quite spread out. Like, we haven't actually even gone into like the main town on the island, which I think we're going to do tomorrow for lunch. But yeah, it's quite spread out. Like the town that we were just in for dinner, the like port town, is like almost a 30 minute drive from where we're staying. And then the beach we were at today is also like an 18-ish minute drive. So you have to take taxis everywhere. They don't have Ubers here if you've never been and didn't know that. I didn't before this. It's a pretty small island, but things are kind of spread out. So like if I was here for longer or like if I came back with Chris, I feel like we would definitely rent a car to be able to explore it more because there's so many like nice beaches and stuff. But it just sucks if you have to like Uber, I mean taxi to every single one. We're sitting... Oh my god, I just took my hair out of my body. It's absolutely wild. Look at it from the side. Look at that action. Stunning. You little lioness. We're sitting in the exact same spot where we were on our first night, which was yesterday, where we watched the sunset. It's obviously dark, but we have a really pretty view of the pool. And we can eavesdrop on the people sitting downstairs having their dinner. That's warm. It's good wine though. That is good wine, besides the temperature. It would actually be amazing cold. I actually really like that. Alright, we're in bed with our computers. We're gonna do a little bit of work and then go to sleep and it's 11 30 and we're in Ibiza. We're like grandmas. We burnt ourselves out in Paris and now we're in recovery mode for this trip and both of us have no doubt about it, which is really nice. I literally could not give less with that. It's honestly a good feeling. I feel like we're like perfectly tired from being in the sun all day and we're gonna sleep so well and just wake up and have another awesome relaxing day tomorrow. So we'll see you guys then. Goodnight! Back for breakfast. Had some fruit. Getting eggs. Maggie's on her croissant diet. I love it. I love that for her. And I got her into cortados. It's time for another first impression. Busy. I think it's about them all the time. So we're gonna have a little first impression. Are you supposed to like stir it? Yeah, you can. It's so little. It's so small. Yeah. Yeah. You can put some pep in your stuff. No, it's good. Okay, good. Looks good. I like that. Okay, we just got back from breakfast. I'm just starting to put on some makeup and get ready for the day. We're gonna head into Ibiza town today because we haven't been there yet and just walk around and we decided we're gonna have some sangria today because we have not done that yet in Spain and that's just rude of us. So we're gonna get a little bit of sangria and walk around and just like check out the sights and then come back here and spend the afternoon by the pool and then I think we're gonna have dinner here again tonight. There's another restaurant here at the resort, Epitunia, that our server the other night told us it's Italian food and he's Italian and he was like I can confirm that the food there's really good as an Italian and we were like okay well we'll go there then for sure. That sounds great and we'll catch the sunset from here again too because it's so pretty just like sitting and enjoying my balcony. This is the fit today. We're going a little bit summery but I've had this skirt for so long and I've been excited to wear it and Spain feels like the perfect place. This actually isn't a matching set but I think this top kind of looks cute with it and then we're just wearing flip-flops because we're going to be doing lots of walking and that's the vibe. We made it to Ibiza town. It's so pretty. All right we saw a sign that said two for one Aperol Spritzes or two for 14 euros which is too good of a deal to pass up and we decided to be rude to one another to not accept this offer absolutely opportunity absolutely so anyways we just sat down and look at our Aperol Spritz tower. I didn't know that was a thing. Look at this you have to like pour it yourself it's like a BYO. Build your own. I just totally missed. I just got the trick shot of my life and Izzy wasn't referring it and I thought I was. We had to get another round of Aperol Spritzes because in order to get the deal you had to get two Aperol Spritzes per person and you know we love a bargain. This is why we came here. That's why we came to Ibiza. But I just did a trick shot where I caught a peanut right now. You're not gonna be able to do it again. Head back. Taking the glasses off. Let me try it. I just asked if I have regrets not going out tonight. I definitely don't but don't mix it with the nuts. Oh my god. Getting the gelato that we didn't get last night. Yeah. Got the goods. I went with like yogurt flavor which is very underrated and pistachio and what did you get? Chocolate obviously in the middle. Caramel vanilla. Oh brain freeze. Are you okay? All right we just went into a cigarette store and bought cigarettes. Didn't know what to ask for. First time ever buying cigarettes in my life. I noticed later and look at the pack of cigarettes that she gave us. We were like oh can we take a different one? It's like a horrible horrible photo that actually makes us. I actually don't even want to show that. It's upsetting me. Oh that's a man. I mean that's why they put this ---- on there so we don't smoke. Wait do it again. Again. Again. We're ready. Smile. We're just chilling by the pool at our stunning resort. Ugh the light at this time of day is so nice. They're slithering. Two girls slithering. The cat. Oh my god yeah. I didn't get a clip. I'll go try to take one after but the cat that was sitting on our breakfast table this morning is still sleeping. Update. He's still asleep. He found a different location. Okay these are outfits of the night. I put on last night's dress again. I think it looks cuter without the blazer and that's why I didn't like it last night. This is another stunning sunset. Wow the light's way better this way. Um the sunset is so pretty. We just took a bunch of photos. Even though these are really cute and we're in Ibiza we're not going out because we're 90 year old women in training. Probably gonna put on something a little comfier and we're going for Italian food tonight. Moment for the view. One last Euro drink for the two of us together. My trip continues on after this but it's Maggie's last day. The Italian place is not open for dinner which we didn't realize so unfortunately wasn't open so we're back at the place that we came to for dinner the first night which was amazing. Maggie even got the same thing. You got the same thing right? Yeah yeah she got the paella again. I'm trying a fish this time and just having a cheeky little glass of rose. Then we're gonna go back and pack and we fly out first thing tomorrow. Bye. I'm a creature of habit. She's beautiful. She has grace. Had to get the paella again because it was so good the first night. I'm busy venturing out. I got a it's fish I don't remember what kind it is. It's um hockey. Oh yeah hockey. Not to be confused with the sport of hockey. Okay we just finished packing. I think when we left Paris like the last night Maggie and I got a little bit too drunk and when we were packing we were legitimately intoxicated I think but I packed so well. I got to the airport the next day and like my bag was underweight so I was able to add an extra sweater that I was gonna have to carry on the plane and it was glorious. So I'm just really hoping that I packed it the same way as when I came here because I'm heading off to Barcelona. I'm meeting up with my family. I'm going on a bike trip for the next 10 days so I have a lot of stuff and my husband's even more stuff for me. My carry-on's really heavy but I made it work at the airport the other day so praying that it's the same case this time. Also changed into robes because I think we're going to sit out on the patio and smoke a little cigarette. I hate us, we're disgusting but it's fine. And then maybe we'll watch a movie or something and then we'll get to bed early because we just booked our taxi for tomorrow at 6 45 for an early early flight. Good morning! It's the next day. We are at the airport, just checked my bag, just chilling until my flight. I'm flying to Barcelona as I mentioned for the next leg of my European New York slash trip. No. And we're parting ways and we don't have any trips in the books right now since we're together again which will make sense though that we don't.
