STORM "Domingos" CHALLENGING pilots and plane spotters - Zurich Airport Plane Spotting | 4K

On November 5th 2023, some bad weather crossed over Zurich Airport bringing along some strong wind gusts and rain showers. Wind gusts were peaking at 33 knots while the average wind was between 20 and 27 knots coming from a south-westerly direction, leading to departures out of runway 32 with a high crosswind component. Some smaller aircraft had to wait several minutes due to the crosswind component exceeding their limits. Not only were the pilots challenged at some points, but also the plane spotters were fighting some rough conditions in order to get some spectacular shots. This video features the noon rush hour of this turbulent day, including very diverse weather conditions and lots of heavy aircraft.
