In this video, we will be sharing the "Otokiage(to make a fire-offering)" ceremony at Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto, Japan. This event takes place within the temple grounds and is a ritual where people offer their prayers to the deities and Buddhas for domestic safety and the fulfillment of their wishes. The rising smoke and flames are a spectacular sight, and along with them, the "wishes" of many people from all over the country are dedicated to the deities and Buddhas.
