Hi guys. One sec. Hi guys. Okay. Hi. Hi Kathleen. Hello. How was your check-up?
How's your check-up there? Yeah. Okay? Yeah. Good news. Good news. So this is Kathleen's eye check-up update. Yeah.
Update. We're in Borja Hospital. Yeah we're at the Borja Hospital. We have a really nice eye doctor.
The doctor was awesome. What's her name? What's your name? I was born.
Um Dr. Masina. Dr. Masina. Was she from Luzon or something? Because she speaks Tagalog.
Tagalog and I was having a hard time speaking Tagalog. I was like doctor can you understand a
little bit of Visaya and then just like a little bit and so I was like trying my best to speak
Tagalog and then I couldn't take it anymore. I was like oh oh my god. English for more nosebleed.
And their nurses. Very good explanation. I understand what's going on. So Kathleen um
that we got these drops um and basically at night time. Hold on a second. At night time.
I would like to say thank you to the nurses. Yes. I did not get all your nurses but thank you very much.
You're all so sweet.
Two of them is from Brandon's place. Oh Antikyra yeah. The nurses from Antikyra and the doc.
Thank you all. You guys are awesome. Yeah so basically we got this um stuff that will uh blur
Kathleen's left eye so that her right eye can catch up. Um we're really lucky that um we caught
this you know. We're lucky that we caught this because she Kathleen's a premature baby um and
her blood vessels. What were we just showing? All right so for all you eye doctors check out
what Jolen was just saying. Sorry I forgot to hit the record button. Show the stats again. I don't
remember them checking her eye before. Not like this. Or maybe because it was fine maybe. So
anyways this is what it says. Prematurely. Prematurity. Regressed. Yeah. My left eye has
more red stuff. Yeah and then and then so her right eye had 200.
2D. Yeah and then the left eye is so big and then the length. And then the length of the eye of her
right eye is a bit bigger. And but we have to be careful with that so um the doc said to to follow
her steps. Okay guys sorry. Well we're back on the camera now. We were using the phone. This is what
um Kathleen's stats are for her eye. So as mommy was explaining but this is um what was this honey?
200. The grade of her eye is a 200 for all you doctors that might know this. Um and then her
left eye is 75. And actually the the length of her eyeball is actually slightly tiny bit larger
on her right side. And her right eye is the one that has the trouble. And it's what's this mean
mommy? A refraction that the uh the the I forgot the name of the the part of the eye. Basically
the 200 the difference. It's the grade. It's the grade yes. There's a little
like this part of your eyeball. How do you how do you explain that? It's your eyeglass.
Eye grade oh that's the eye grade okay. I don't know. That's why we're seeing specialists okay. So
um basically. You're like explaining it too. Kathleen's really lucky. So anyway guys we
want to say that. The right eye has 200 grades for the. She has A plus grades. And then that left
eye is 75. So she needs to wear her glasses. Okay. But they're gonna do something with the left eye
so so she'll learn using the the right eye better. So now she's been using the left eye that it make
it's making her look like she's cross-eyed. Where's the other part? Okay and then here is
the diagnosis. It's regressed retinopathy of prematurity both eyes. So basically you can see
here that there's um the blood vessels. They didn't reach to the part that they should have.
But they went further than lots of the people who have major problems. So she's really lucky that
even though she was a premature baby her blood vessels went and touched almost to the back. But
they're just not far enough. So to help with this they gave us some eye droplets. So every night
before bed we put one eye drop on her left eye. Right. So what that does is what they explain to
us. It will blur her left eye. So her right eye will have to work harder to she will she won't
be able to use this left eye as well as her right when we do that eye drop. But actually she'll be
sleeping anyway. So you're lucky it's right before bed. Um and then you wake up and you're you know
I don't know how long it actually exists uh it lasts. Anyway that's a very simple solution to
help. And then next next September we will see and we will monitor at home. But this next September
they said come back around then. So Sigi that's pretty much the update for Kathleen's eyes.
Using her she's using her left eye hard. Mm-hmm. And it makes strains. It's just called lazy eye.
Lazy eye. She's not really crossed eyes. It's just lazy. Yeah she's got a lazy eye. So that's
wow I didn't I've never even heard the explanation for all this but I'm really happy to hear it.
And I'm so happy that you have good news Kathleen. I'm really happy to hear that. Aren't you happy?
Yeah. Okay good. Are we gonna get my glasses? Oh we're gonna go over there after we eat.
I'm starved. You want to get the pink one. Aren't you hungry guys? You didn't even eat breakfast.
No she wants to get blue. Uh maybe purple. Maybe black. We don't know. But yeah let's go eat guys.
We're gonna pick up the other kids. Let's bring this to the doctor first. Okay we'll drop that
off but we're starving. You guys need to eat. Bye guys. Bye. Bye. Shake it off. Shake it off.
Mommy's gonna go give the papers to the optometrist. I don't think I have enough money.
Pay her after. You have to pay now? Here. I think you pay after you come pick it up.
Just drop it off real fast. Sana all. John to eat breakfast. It's irritating me.
I'm not gonna eat breakfast and then be like.
She's gonna go drop it off. Can I say hi to him? Who? Do you remember him?
Hello. Can I say hello to you? He can't hear you. That's okay. Did he not say hi to you? He didn't
hear me. You weren't loud enough. Proof. Say hi to sir. He's like oh my gosh they're videoing me
behind this tinted window. Nothing. He didn't even wave. Alright guys so Kathleen just ran in
there with mommy. They've been in there for 10 minutes or so and I found a parking spot finally
and I just talked um I just got gave a call to Bia. She's the one of the or the owner of
Bussack Bistro. They just had a soft opening recently and it looks like we might be able to
go check out their opening to their new business and we can have a mukbang over there so
no no one really knows that yet and I just want to make sure that Joan's cool with it
um because we're starved um and that sounds amazing because they got pizza and yummy comfort
food over there so let's go inside that would turn this car off. Let's go inside and see what's
going on with Kathleen's glasses and I forgot my I forgot my mask so yeah uh we'll check out
Kathleen's glasses and then hopefully around four o'clock which is in like an hour give them an hour
to prepare the food and everything and then hopefully everyone can go over there we can
just grub down on some super yummy food. Does that sound good? Man it sounds good to me because I'm
starving. How am I going to get anywhere?
Wow those look good on the day. Can I see?
Not yet. Wait oh she's just testing them. Put them back on.
Which one should Kathleen pick? Wow. Hi doc.
She likes this one? The color is pretty.
It's too big. Okay. Might be too big for her. Might be a little bit too big.
Okay that's what we got here guys. I think she likes looking like a doctor.
Okay. What was that Kathleen?
That was a good day. This is what she wants.
Good for the vlog.
Because I was taking it in the wrong way. I thought Michael took money from them
and I felt so embarrassed and I was thinking to like give him a really good back on his
butt for doing that and then it's it wasn't it it's not what happened the eye.
It's making me feel bad. It's all Erica. It's not my fault I was just saying.
It's all Erica who makes mommy cry.
It's not that Erica.
It's just I misunderstood what Erica said and you know and I was like. You thought that Michael
took the money from Brandon's grandma. That really likes him so I was like feeling bad and
you know like. She was so embarrassed she didn't even go upstairs when I got Michael. Yeah and I
that's that's you know that's what making me feel hurt inside that okay why would Michael do that?
He never done that. He would never take he never took money you know so it was like shocking like
really? That's why I was like my blood my my neck my feelings. Michael don't ever do that Micah.
No mommy was crying because she's so upset that she thought you stole money. Oops but it was
misinterpreted. Don't joke like that. What'd she say? It's not a joke like that. No it's not.
You don't misinterpret. See Erica. Now she's mad. Now she's mad and now she's or she was crying.
Now she's laughing. She was laughing. Now she's sad and not talking to anyone.
Kathleen's still a little butthead. Michael's wondering what the heck's going on. GM's like
I'm hungry let's go. Brandon's like uh I like computers. She's laughing now. No she's like
I'm not videoing. You're not videoing. Okay sorry. Okay so the reason why I want to explain myself.
The reason why I was feeling bad because Brandon's grandma really likes Michael. When Michael's not
around grandma's looking for him. Yeah and then you know so I was feeling bad that I thought he did
that to her. And then she didn't she doesn't even want Michael to go home but Michael has to.
I miss Michael. Meg when she's in the room sometimes she hears Michael's voice.
Michael's here. When Michael is not around.
You want to see the pictures? Where's the pictures? It's right here.
