Dean Martin's Grave and His Abandoned Palm Springs Home

what's going on everybody welcome back to 909 Adventures today's video is about Dean Martin his final resting place and has abandoned Palm Springs home Dean Martin sometimes is simply called Dino Dino Martin or the king of cool he was born June 7th 1917 and died Christmas day December 25th 1995 at the age of 78 his career spanned from 1946 all the way up until his death in 1995 when he died from lung cancer but that wasn't before teaming up with Jerry Lewis to form Martin and Lewis it was also a member of the rap pack which included Frank Sinatra he had his own show called The Dean Martin Show none of this even includes his solo music career he has songs such as in't That a Kick In The Head which you could see him perform in the movie Oceans 11 starring not only him but Frank Sinatra and the other members of the Rat Pack now that was just a few things about Dean Martin let's go check out his abandoned Palm Springs home all right so guys I was planning I'm going to check this one out today I was not planning for this newly erected fence to be covering up the entire property and unfortunately I know maybe on screen this might look wider than it really is but I mean I don't even have to spread my entire hand out and uh well you guys seen what happened there unfortunately this is not going to happen today but this was Dean Martin's house when he was alive it's hard to believe that Dean Martin lived here after doing the the Dean Martin celebrity roast uh going a filming Oceans 11 being a part of the Rat Pack you know that's not even including his [Music] uh you know his singing career he lived a very modest life from what I've heard but you know I mean again it's hard to imagine you know after all that success you would just live in a basic standard house I mean if I was famous you know to the caliber of what Dean Martin was I would treat myself and buy myself a you know at least a a bigger house I mean come on really I don't know if he was really that Frugal or he was just uh just didn't want to spend the money or or what but yeah such a a modest house for somebody being so famous wow again guys here's the view from across the street Street there's his palm trees what is that thing you guys see that thing right there what is that right there all right guys I hope you enjoyed this one this is another quick little video I put one of these little two or three minute videos out the other week and people seem to like them so I'm going to continue to do that with you know stuff like this hope you guys enjoyed it bus Legend Dean Martin died Christmas Day at the age of 78 he was an actor and a member of the Rat Pack but our man in Hollywood Jim Brown reminds us that Martin was also quite a kuner as well one of Dean Martin's two signature songs that's samore was first heard in this 1953 movie The caddy it was a little over Midway through Martin's 10year partnership with comedian Jerry Lewis the pair met in 1946 while performing in separate engagements in Atlantic City and teaming up Martin and Lewis born Dino crosetti and Joseph levich became one of the most phenomenal successes in Show Business history before we get out of here home is falling apart check that out right there there's a whole you know good portion of the side missing there what a cool little pink house must be Jane mansfi or something
