Matt Miazga- Best Defender in MLS 2023

Macundo-Torres, excellent ball for Angulo. Haklund defending, Ivan Angulo cutting it in on his right and a big block in front by Matt Miaska. Great work from Miaska. Silparreira, Miaska on his horse. Trying to hang on, keep his clean sheet for a bit longer. It's Miaska, drifting through a couple, putting it to Moreno. Up top at the beginning of the season. Zabong with a little flick on, but that's Miaska in front of Mukhtar. Here's Montero, watched very closely here by Matt Miaska. Miaska's passing to Bild again, it's Harris. Taste for it now, Miaska licking himself. 20-21. Mukhtar, the sliding challenge of Miaska. Oh, Joanier, a red carpet ball into Lassiter. Excellent tackle by Matt Miaska. Koutsias, trying to make something of it. Best opportunity. Battle in the middle. Here's Haile Selassie in a terrific block. It was Matt Miaska to the rescue for the visitors. Koutsias, post up, Rodney, post up! And then a little charge foul on it. What an unbelievable fan base they have. Miaska over the top, and that one flicked towards goal and in! Acosta, a perfect rainbow. And it's 1-0 for the visitors. And there is the absolute piece of magic.
