We decided to take a break at the Play Magnus offices today and played some Knipse-Sjakk, or in English, Flick Chess. Check out the video to see how it turned out. #chessmastery #chess
So we've been working all day and we thought we'd take a little break and Magnus suggested that we
play a little game called Knipsecheck and what that is is flicking chess. So you actually flick
the pieces trying to take the other person's king. So I'll bring in our special guests now
to show you how it's done.
You took this one first.
Yeah.
Then I'll go here.
The rooks are not very strong in this game. I'm gonna try.
Can I put it down over there?
Yeah.
Bring my pieces towards the center.
In which way?
That way.
Gotta learn the rules to play the game.
Ah, that was too... I'm not very good at this. Too much spin on that one.
Is that good?
Yeah, that's good.
It's dangerous to leave your king like that.
Yeah, I think I've... It's difficult to get to that bishop.
Now you leave me with a clear shot.
Blender.
