Nirvana Heart Shaped Box, but its Funk

That's right! First cover in the new style, a tune I've always loved cranking out. Such a banging tune. I was really inspired actually, many years ago, by the jazz cover by the Yaron Herman Trio, and have been playing it in more or less a funky/jazz way ever since. But all props go, of course, to the legend himself, Kurt Cobain.

So I wanted to level up my covers. I felt that the solo piano covers were boring in many ways: too long, static frame with no edits, un-engaging, and not as original as I can do covers - they weren't pushing any of my own boundaries. Now that we've got this little mini studio set up with drums, 2 mics and a keyboard, we can record these kind of jams and level up the covers. So this is definitely where we are heading in terms of covering tunes. Laid back, vintage, chill vibes. I'm going for an early Youtube aesthetic. Just something a bit different, (hopefully).
