(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Mainz - RB Leipzig

Kempel won the ball, Schlager came away with it now, Xavi, he might want to have a little effort here, tried to poke it through, there's Baumgartner but that's not going to go in, because he couldn't get enough on it, he thought he was fouled. Away as far as Kempel, Xavi, Xavi hits it beautifully, that's a great save from Robin Centner, he's had not a lot to do. Opposite number Janis Blazis, but that effort was on target and needed stopping. Onesiewa wants to take it on his own, he wants to go around Klosterman, he's done just that, oh it's a great ball and it's a great goal, finally they get what they wanted, so this time he just threw himself headlong at the ball and his diving header is the key that unlocks the Leipzig defence, he gave it everything he had, he couldn't even get up to celebrate, well-positioned header there into the corner. Fernandes ball punched out by Blazic only as far, oh it's dropped for Onesiewa and it's 2-0, it's 2-0, the flag is up, well as Barkok heads that back in, there are players off sides, the goal might stand you know, who'd be a referee? He's looked at it, it's a goal, it's 2-0, Barrera was scored, Amadou Haidara also on for Kevin Campbell, fresh legs in the midfield, they've got six minutes plus stoppages, but I think Barkok had the chance to make it three, tried it with the outside of the boot for Leipzig to stem from Leipzig, it's all over, Mainz have their first win of the season, it might have cost them Boral Svensson to get it.
